"Intuitive, Fast, and Perfect for Effortless Video Editing"
What do you like best about iMovie?

What I like most about iMovie is how intuitive and accessible it is. It allows me to quickly edit high-quality videos without a steep learning curve, which is especially helpful when creating content consistently. The interface is clean, reliable, and perfect for fast turnarounds, basic edits, voiceovers, captions, and transitions. It does exactly what it needs to do without overcomplicating the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iMovie?

The main downside is the limited advanced features. As your editing needs grow, things like more detailed color grading, audio controls, and layered effects can feel restrictive. It’s great for simple to moderate editing, but power users may eventually outgrow it and need more robust software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Free. Perfect for Beginners and Quick Projects"
What do you like best about iMovie?

iMovie is incredibly user-friendly and ideal for quick video editing projects. The drag-and-drop interface, built-in templates, transitions, and effects make it easy to create polished videos without needing professional editing skills. It’s especially great for social media content, internal presentations, and personal projects. The seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, Mac) is a huge plus, and the fact that it’s free with Apple devices makes it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iMovie?

While it’s great for basic editing, iMovie lacks advanced features like multi-track editing, motion tracking, and detailed export controls. Larger projects can slow down rendering, and the output format is limited (mostly .MOV). It’s also only available on Apple devices, which limits collaboration with Windows users. What do you dislike about iMovie?

"Perfect Video Editing Starter for Apple Beginners"
What do you like best about iMovie?

iMovie is a good video editing platform in apple devices for beginners. The interface is quite simple and easy to navigate. The platform is easy to learn and a beginner can also start creating good projects in a week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iMovie?

The platform is quite basic when compared to tools like Capcut or Davinci Resolve but it does the Job for me Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for starting video editing without complications"
What do you like best about iMovie?

The interface is very intuitive, which allows you to edit videos quickly even if you have no prior experience. I like that it includes templates, transitions, and predefined effects that look professional without the need for technical knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about iMovie?

As projects become more complex, iMovie falls short on advanced features. It does not allow for comfortable work with multiple video tracks. I also miss having more control over export parameters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
