It is similar to other CMS editors I've used in the past so it's nice to have a familiar user experience. It works very quickly, without loading delays and the built in AI capabilities are useful. It’s maybe not quite as visual as I’d like. It would be really useful to be able to see the webpage dynamically update as we edit. Also, if it could suggest improvements to the content you’re adding while you build pages, that would help recommend things I might not have thought of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hygraph offers most of the features I would expect from a high-end CMS; scheduled publishing, customizability of the interface, rich-text editor and more. So far what has made me feel extra good about Hygraph is their swift and helpful customer support.

The localisation is very good and the integration with Lokalise is a great help to our team.

Hygraph are missing some features that I think would elevate it to the next level. For example autosaving entries and being able to save incomplete entries (without required fields).

I would also prefer if there were more settings on fields, for example being able to specify that an assets should be an image, or what dimensions are allowed. Also, lists can't be required which to me seems a bit odd.

The documentation is generally good but sometimes a bit difficult to navigate.

From a Tech aspect , it is very easy to integrate and implement within your environments. From an operational aspect adding content is straight forward for all stakeholders making it easy to scale. The best part about Hygraph is how modern the platform feels compared to other CMS systems I’ve used in the past. It’s also refreshing to see how frequently Hygraph is updated with new features and AI-based integrations, which makes it feel like the product is actively improving. The main thing I dislike about Hygraph is that it doesn’t have a dedicated tool for merging improvements. To achieve this, we had to build our own custom tool. I’d really like to see a built-in “merge tool” added to make schema merges even easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm genuinely impressed with Hygraph. Its UI/UX makes managing content surprisingly straightforward, even with advanced features like Click-to-Edit and live previews, which are a game-changer for our editorial team. What truly sets it apart are the powerful Integrations, especially Content Federation. Being able to pull data from various APIs into one unified content graph has streamlined our workflow immensely. This GraphQL-native approach also translates directly into fantastic Performance; our content loads quickly and efficiently, which is crucial for our global audience.

While the Pricing / ROI has a noticeable jump from the free to paid tiers, the capabilities we unlocked made the investment worthwhile. And the Support / Onboarding experience has been top-notch, with excellent documentation and a very responsive team always ready to help. Hygraph has become an indispensable part of our tech stack! From an Integrations and Performance standpoint, the GraphQL-only nature, while powerful, does present a learning curve. For teams new to GraphQL, having a more accessible entry point or even a basic REST API option would broaden its appeal significantly. The UI/UX for editors, while generally good, can sometimes experience slight lags or require manual refreshes when handling many small content pieces. I really appreciate having access to the Hygraph API. It allows us to work faster and smarter, which I consider a real game changer for us. The API enables us to manage a lot of the documentation on our website much faster and more efficiently. It's great for deduplicating content as well, especially when handling the vast amount of data stored on Hygraph. Hygraphs approach to a headless CMS based workflow is very well put together

This ensured that as a design team we were able to confidently design custom interfaces for handoff with our internal development team knowing that they would be able to implement a custom integration via Hygraph.

With this being a headless CMS it has the added benefit that our internal users of Hygraph benefit from the easy to use interface, rather than relying on development effort to deploy page updates.

Genuinely can't think of anything i dislike about Hygraph - at first i was skeptical due to previously used CMS platforms but I have been pleasantly surprised! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer support is very good. They are communicative early on updates and maintenance required, leaving us plenty of time to make the necessary changes. Very easy to use platform. Looking at the marketplace, Hygraph is a little pricy. I have not been wow'ed by the AI features, but I rarely ever use them. Their leadership played hardball with us for overages that we were going to pay (needed to figure out payment internally), and it did leave a bad taste in our mouth. I don’t really have any negative feedback to share, except that for a small business it may be difficult to upgrade to a higher tier because of financial constraints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is clean and easy to understand and use. Integrating it into our NextJs App was really easy. Only needed a few values from Hygraph and a GraphQL client.

Changing the order of the shown Models in the Content Tab is not possible, unless you create custom view groups.
