What do you like best about HYCU?

The support is top notch. They always respond quickly and even go out of their way to find custom solutions if you encounter specific issues.

Super easy to setup and administrator - UI is intuitive for daily use.

Does not require an additional VM or license to run -- purpose built.

Easily integrates into our Nutanix clusters.

Upgrades/patching is very easy.

What do you dislike about HYCU?

Not necessary, but basic linux / SSH skils are helpful to help the support process.

"Good support and integrates nicely with Nutanix/AHV"

What do you like best about HYCU?

Integrates very nicely with Nutanix.

It only takes an hour to deploy and have backups working. It gives a clear snapshot of what's working and what's not.

What do you dislike about HYCU?

The update process can be a little clunky in Nutanix.

"Easiest to Use Backup Solution"

What do you like best about HYCU?

HYCU has been a great backup solution. Our old solution failed to keep up with the times and when it was time to upgrade HYCU provided us the perfect solution. I have been able to recover from lost data to many times to remember. The few times I have needed tech support they responded quickly and helped resolve the issues on the first call. "Easy to deploy and use"

What do you like best about HYCU?

A very strong immutable backup solution, there are few natively immutable solutions on the market, and this is without a doubt a strong contender. The rapid recovery times are a huge factor for this too.

I have a plethora of SaaS apps which other backup solutions do not support, Hycu was my only option. However, Hycu is not acting like a last resort but is infact acting like it should be peoples first choice. "Strong Nutanix Integration"

What do you like best about HYCU?

I’ve been using HYCU primarily for our Nutanix environment, and honestly, it’s one of the best backup and recovery tools I’ve worked with. What really stands out to me is how tightly integrated it is with Nutanix — it feels like it was built for it from the ground up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HYCU?

The pricing model can feel a bit high compared to other backup tools, especially when you start protecting workloads outside Nutanix (like VMware or cloud).

Before using HYCU, managing backups across our Nutanix environment was more complicated than it needed to be. We were dealing with multiple tools, manual configurations, and a lack of clear visibility into what was actually protected. "A Reliable Backup Provider with Outstanding Support and a Few UI Hiccups"

What do you like best about HYCU?

I like the easy way to manage, control, and monitor. The support team is also very competent and always happy to help. I once had a task I was unsure about since I had just started at a company where it is used heavily. I asked about it in a low-priority ticket, and half an hour later, I was on a call with one technician and one of their leads, who gave me a short workshop explaining the task I needed to do and the different mechanics. What do you dislike about HYCU?

One thing I don’t like is that the web UI can feel very clunky, especially if you have a lot of elements or a big report open. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"HYCU Deployment and Use"

What do you like best about HYCU?
