"Excellent value for organizing documentation, assests and passwords"

What do you like best about Hudu?

My business is in the early startup phase and I needed a reliable and secure place to store my documentation, assets and passwords and for the monthly price, you cannot beat the value of Hudu. I'm still just scratching the surface of what Hudu can bring to my new startup, and I expect to be using it for a long time to come. I did appreciate the quick start up time of my Hudu tenant too.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

Took me a little bit to find my way around the gui, especially building specific asset types.

What problems is Hudu solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hudu increases my productivity by organizing all of my client data and presenting the data in such a way that I can find what I'm looking for quickly.

"Best documentation software for MSPs"

What do you like best about Hudu?

Hudu offers an incredibly clean and intuitive interface that makes IT documentation easy to manage and navigate. The customizable asset layouts and built-in SOP templates save time and help standardize documentation across clients. Integrations with RMMs and PSAs (like ConnectWise and HaloPsa) are seamless, and the password manager is secure yet user-friendly. The ability to white-label and offer client-facing portals is a big plus.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

The mobile experience is lacking and needs refinement for better usability on the go. Also, some built-in features like backup management and documentation versioning could be more robust. API coverage is decent but could benefit from more endpoints and documentation.

What problems is Hudu solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hudu solves the problem of scattered and inconsistent IT documentation. Before Hudu, key information like passwords, SOPs, and asset details were spread across different tools and spreadsheets. Now, everything is centralized, searchable, and structured, which reduces onboarding time, improves team efficiency, and minimizes errors during support. It also helps maintain standardized processes across clients, which is critical for scaling our MSP operations.

"Such a vast improvement over our previous documentation platform"

What do you like best about Hudu?

The interface is clean and fresh, we can do our documentation in a structured way without being restricted or it being overly arduous.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

We haven't got on well with using it to document procedures that we then have to follow

What problems is Hudu solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lets us keep our documentation and passwords securely and with audited access by the team with no worry about potential data loss due to mistakes or malicious activity.

"It is OUR documentation software"

What do you like best about Hudu?

HUDU is a great app that we can self host. There are so many valuable API integrations and support is amazing. We love being able to create a portal for our users to reference as well with their data.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

nothing really...its a great app and we love using it.

What problems is Hudu solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its our central repository for all things, KBs, passwords and unique customer procedures.

"Great Documentation System with Awesome Integrations"

What do you like best about Hudu?

The integrations are what I love most. It works with our PSA and RMM to deliver a rich experience for each system we have under management. It was super simple to configure and their support is top tier.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

I have nothing negative to say about Hudu. We love it!

What problems is Hudu solving and how is that benefiting you?

The password management side for us is massive. It works great, supports OTP and is super easy to use.

"Hudu is the ultimate IT-Documentation platform"

What do you like best about Hudu?

- The ability to create custom objects with many different attributes, enabling you to create a documentation of almost all aspects inside and outside of the IT landscape.

> You can even track your companies car pool or contracts!

- Hudu is set up in a matter of minutes. Configuring and tailoring Hudu to your company-specific need takes time and patience.

- Hudu comes with a wide variety of pre-built integrations and a comprehensive API.

- The customer service is top notch.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

- Data privacy may be an issue with the cloud hosted variant since its an American company. Hudu may be forced to reveal data if forced so by the FBI oder other government agencies.

- You cant deploy your own keys to encrypt the database.

- Self hosted is the way to go for Europe based customers.

- No native MS OAuth or Graph SMTP setup.

What problems is Hudu solving and how is that benefiting you?

- Keeping track of renewals

- Sharing passwords with team members and customers

- Documenting IT-Infrastructure and building an automation base

"Great documentation platform for IT Services"

What do you like best about Hudu?

After having used other documentation software in the past, that was purchased by a very large company, we needed a platform to consolidate knowledge. Hudu has given us a great platform for our IT Helpdesk to internally share documentation, document passwords and provide end user instructions without a large overhead or administrative burden.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

Hudu is still being developed and would like to see some better integration features. Their website check will not work with .edu domains for instance. Nothing has been a deal breaker however.

What problems is Hudu solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hudu has allowed for centralized knowledge management and password documentation. Prior non-unique passwords were being used across multiple platforms. Passwords are now randomly generated and stored. How-to's and Standard Operating Procedures are also being written and updated as neeeded.

Can handle many forms of documentation, robust text editing features.

What do you dislike about Hudu?

Doc export/import options limited, few intgration options to other tools we used. Implementation was not robust.

Manage client info, monitor wesites and Certs, KB repository for our Team.

Wish there was more flexible areas to create your own costumized sections to document different types of data.
