As an end user it is very straightforward and easy to access all the information and documentation relating to a project. The customer service has been great and the onboarding training was very helpful. The AI estimating tool is helpful to create estimates and greatly reduces the amount of time spent. I really appreciate how easy it is to send an invoice and tie it directly to an approved estimate or change order. I don't like how long it takes for payments made to hit my bank account, often taking multiple business days. I receive email notifications days after a payment has been made. I have tried to integrate my account with Quickbooks but have yet to see the two programs communicate with each other. We use Houzz Pro every day in our construction business, and it’s been extremely helpful for staying organized by keeping our clients and projects all in one place. Being able to create estimates and invoices, then send them directly to the client through Houzz, is awesome. The Houzz Pro Clipper is also a big help—having clients’ selections show up in their client dashboard makes it much easier to keep everyone on the same page. It has helped us reach a level of professionalism that we didn't have before Houzz. It is so easy to use not only for us but for our clients. They can easily approve or decline their selections as well as use their client dashboard to see all of their project in one place. I was familiar with Houzz Pro when I worked for another designer. When I branched out to start my own business, I felt it was the best platform for me due to the features such as I can complete/edit 2D/3D renderings, invoices, selection boards, mood boards etc all in one platform instead of using multiple. I also really appreciate the upgrades - that Houzz listens to feedback to incorporate into their platform for designers as we see needs arise that would benefit our business and how we utilize the program. I appreciate the value for the cost of using Houzz Pro and most especially appreciate the coupon to use if I pay annual up front. Thank you! While I appreciate the FAQ with AI in the chat box, I learn best by audio and hands on approach so if I need help, I always prefer to speak to someone on the phone - it seems sometimes that's the last step in the process and takes time to actually get someone on the phone. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Houzz Pro for project management and client communications. It allows me to track expenses on a project level basis and at the purchase order level per subcontractor, which is helpful for estimating and accuracy. The selection boards make it easy to communicate visually with clients and allow them to link directly to the project products, which is very helpful for them to visualize items in their space. What I don’t like isn’t actually a diss on Houzz Pro—there are just so many features that I haven’t had the time to really learn and capitalize on. I’m also always a bit worried about whether the internal communication, approvals, and payments are user-friendly and intuitive for my clients. I don't want them having to learn a software either. I like that Houzz Pro is fairly intuitive, which makes it user-friendly. There's no way to select items for purchase or selection in the house market, which makes it irrelevant when creating mood boards that turn into selection boards for clients. The drawing tools are somewhat limiting, as they don't include some newer design techniques, like picture frame molding and access to other window or wall treatments. I really appreciate the clipper tool for selections and the intuitiveness of the program. It just works the way I expect it to, and when I'm unsure about a feature or I don't understand something, it's easy to ask a quick question, and the program will show me what I need. I find the lack of ability to do outdoor elevations and change roof lines disappointing. Creating a 3D model of a house's exterior would be extremely helpful, but it's not possible. In 3D renderings, I don't like that I can't manipulate ceiling heights as needed for certain homes. The limited options for tile are a drawback too. Navigating through the space can be a bit difficult at times, and I'm not always impressed with the quality of 3D renderings for actual products I'm trying to incorporate. We would like to see the calendar function integrated with our google calendar. We don't use the schedule function as we then have to duplicate entries to ensure our google calendars reflect the schedule as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
