The customer service has been great and the onboarding training was very helpful. The AI estimating tool is helpful to create estimates and greatly reduces the amount of time spent. I really appreciate how easy it is to send an invoice and tie it directly to an approved estimate or change order. The customer dashboard has been a hit with clients and facilitates communication and decision making when used effectively. **What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?** I don't like how long it takes for payments made to hit my bank account, often taking multiple business days. I receive email notifications days after a payment has been made. I have tried to integrate my account with Quickbooks but have yet to see the two programs communicate with each other. I am a one man show, I wish there were more pricing options for few users while keeping access to the same features that make this a great product. **What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before Houzz Pro I was using a word processor for creating estimates and a spreadsheet program to create schedules. Since adopting HouzzPro I have been able to create estimates much quicker and then create a project schedule straight from that document without having to open a new program. Being able to do both things from the same place has saved so much time and keeps work items from being lost in the mix as words are turned into cells. ### 2. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review. **What do you like best about Houzz Pro?** We use Houzz Pro every day in our construction business, and it’s been extremely helpful for staying organized by keeping our clients and projects all in one place. Being able to create estimates and invoices, then send them directly to the client through Houzz, is awesome. The Houzz Pro Clipper is also a big help—having clients’ selections show up in their client dashboard makes it much easier to keep everyone on the same page. It has helped us reach a level of professionalism that we didn't have before Houzz. It is so easy to use not only for us but for our clients. They can easily approve or decline their selections as well as use their client dashboard to see all of their project in one place. I can't say enough good things about Houzz Pro and how it has helped our business. I also love the value for the money. Houzz Pro truly wants to make a great product so they are always taking feedback and creating new things to help make it better and better. **What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?** I think the only thing I do not like about it is sometimes it takes a long time for things to load when you are going from one page to the next. It's not instant. When I branched out to start my own business, I felt it was the best platform for me due to the features such as I can complete/edit 2D/3D renderings, invoices, selection boards, mood boards etc all in one platform instead of using multiple. I also really appreciate the upgrades - that Houzz listens to feedback to incorporate into their platform for designers as we see needs arise that would benefit our business and how we utilize the program. I appreciate the value for the cost of using Houzz Pro and most especially appreciate the coupon to use if I pay annual up front. Thank you! It keeps me continuing to use Houzz Pro instead of looking for another application I could use. **What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?** While I appreciate the FAQ with AI in the chat box, I learn best by audio and hands on approach so if I need help, I always prefer to speak to someone on the phone - it seems sometimes that's the last step in the process and takes time to actually get someone on the phone. :) **What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** They continue to update their features for renderings - I especially appreciate that bc with AI today - clients can easily do that on their own. It allows me to track expenses on a project level basis and at the purchase order level per subcontractor, which is helpful for estimating and accuracy. It makes it convenient to prepare bids, invoice, manage selection boards and timelines all in the app. **What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?** The design components, however, need improvement. The limitations are real - from not being able to customize cabinetry to the adjustments of floor plans being tedious. The measurements are also frustrating as distance from floor isn't to center on sconces or countertop on vanities. It's the highest point of the item which is silly. We also need better features for roof lines, exterior design elements, etc. I can't create a sloped wall inside unless it's a exterior wall. The all-in-one service is fantastic for presenting my company professionally. It's great that after a design is approved, I can easily provide my clients with a dashboard to view schedules, sign contracts, and make payments, all through the app. The platform efficiently handles branding and integrates seamlessly with my financial tools, making it easy for my CPA to track everything. I also appreciated having a dedicated person to help during the setup process. **What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?** I wish there were a schedule send button in the email marketing tool, and I also want more insight tracking for website navigation and time spent on each site. In email marketing, it would be helpful to see who has viewed the emails and specifics on who clicked on them. The clipping tool could be improved to work with PDF catalogs, especially those that are large, which can be cumbersome to handle with individual screenshots. The 3D scanning tool is a bit limited, particularly with custom cabinets where it doesn't show where the knobs are or provide distance measurements between them. It also doesn't show types of doors accurately, which is a bit of a downside when I scan something like a folding door and it just shows as a door opening. **What problems is Houzz Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Houzz Pro solves contract invoicing and estimating for me. Houzz offers a lot of different features, so it may come across as intimidating in the beginning. However, once you’re in the system and actively using the software, it starts to feel natural and quickly becomes second nature. It's a pretty intuitive program, making it easy to use since I've been using it for a long time. I like having all of my documentation in one spot and being able to log in from anywhere. I could see a lot of information, even the ones I don't use like estimated revenue and estimated profit. I find it very useful that I can generate a quote request as well. It makes it really easy to track everything and have access to it from anywhere. Plus, I love that the documents are connected, allowing me to see where payments were made and how much they were for. It's a really good way just to track everything. **What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?** I think some of the bigger things that I wish it could do is better reporting. I could go into my reports, but there's just a few basic reports that I can find here. I'd love to be able to break down the reporting differently. It's not great for taxes and expenses and doing things like that. It would be also nice to be able to pay subcontractors using Houzz Pro. Like, if there was a way to have a section for having my subs, I could put those in here as well and make payments through here. They could track their time and create a request, like maybe a billable time or something like that. The item tracking might have been a little bit convoluted, but I think it was probably just me trying to figure it out. I don't really use the 3D floor plans because I have separate software for that. I don't really think it's as useful to me. Contracts would be nice to have, but that's more on the contractor side, I guess. I like the new ability to connect with vendors and upload product information directly into a client's mood board, which I can also keep in my files for future reference. I also appreciate the invoicing feature with the ability to have ACH payments directly deposited into my account. The customer support is also a major reason why I switched to Houzz Pro. I find the AI function for building estimates very handy and a huge time saver, especially when moving over from a previous CRM. It includes an itemized list for completing a project, making the estimation and project phases more user-friendly for customers to understand each step. **What do you dislike about Houzz Pro?** I find the lack of a filtering function for the client list when sending mass emails frustrating. I have to select all and then unselect what I don't want to send, which is not convenient. It would be nice to filter by address, name, or project. Also, it's missing the ability to download information to Excel to easily manage data within the CRM. Another issue is that I can't attach the same calendar to multiple users, which makes it difficult when everyone's using the same meeting calendar.
