It has excellent user-friendly and intuitive. Never faced issues with working from home. report generatio0n is very useful. We don't need a complex system and Hivedesk gives us the information we need without a lot of clutter to effectively manage our remote staff.

As an employer, making sure your employees are productive is essential. Managing employees from home can be challenging since they do not have any direct supervision. Hivedesk helps us track our employee's productivity so that we can rest assured that everyone is functioning at their best! Hivedesk tracks keyboard clicks, mouse activity, and takes periodic screenshots. Idle time is recorded and we get a percentage of activity at the end of each day. Hivedesk said they typically see activity levels of about 85%, so based on the employee's role, we set productivity minimums. The screenshots can be blurred out so that you do not see any personal information, but it helps to see how long certain tasks are taking and if employees are working on the work at hand or not. The only feature I would like to see is the ability to add a document to a task assignment. Most of our task assignments are documents or reports that need to be looked into and worked. Without this, the document has to be sent separately from the task assignment, which is a bit messy. I would also like to limit my manager from seeing employee wages. Even though the software offers a good list of metrics one of the things that it does not have is the function of viewing the logged hours regarding to a task or subtask, you only have to see these hours regarding the entire project. This would have been a great help to me to have an accurate idea of the progress that is made in more concrete activities and adapt the demands according to the data that I obtain from there.
