I love the idea of HiThrive and how it lets me recognize my teammates and show my gratitude for their work. The shout-outs are my thing. I enjoy seeing coworkers recognize each other in the company feed, with funny memes and nice comments, and I find it motivating to see the work of others. I like that the recognition is visible to everyone. The design looks pretty, and I can usually find where things are. I also like the Slack integration because I can send and receive shout-outs through Slack without logging into the website. The rewards are nice, and I like that I can use points for donations. I only see the homepage and rewards because my company hasn’t set up nominations, challenges, or spot celebrations, though I know that’s not HiThrive’s fault. I’d like to see more donation or charity options among the rewards. I’m not sure whether HiThrive has a phone app, but I’d like to use it on my phone instead of only through the website. I’d also enjoy a little mini game or animation when someone recognizes or thanks me, so I can interact with it a bit longer. I like that HiThrive lets me create customized shout-outs to recognize my team’s efforts. Since we work remotely and many of my coworkers are in other countries, it helps us connect and feel united, and lets us know we’ve got each other’s backs. I see it as a confidence booster. I’m not sure if I can redeem the points I’ve accumulated from the Philippines or whether my banking information will work on the platform. What I like the most about HiThrive is how easy it makes it to recognize and appreciate colleagues in a meaningful way without much hassle. The points system adds an extra incentive. The rewards and points system is great, but I think there could be even more flexibility in how points are distributed and redeemed. In Canada, there's still not as many options to redeem as there is in the US for example.

I understand that these rewards may be provided through external partners rather than directly by HiThrive, so this may not be entirely within HiThrive's control. However, it would be helpful if HiThrive could do some additional checks on the available gift cards and their terms before offering them to users, to ensure the rewards accurately reflect their stated value and usability. I find the process of adding and managing teams within HiThrive a bit quirky. It would be great if the process of adding the app through the Teams app store could be more seamless, and the management of the teams could be made more UI friendly. On one occasion, after I redeemed my points for an Amazon gift card, the email with the redemption details took several days to arrive. I had to wait for that email before I could redeem the gift card. Faster email delivery would improve the experience. I use HiThrive to appreciate my teammates and give them shoutouts, which is really useful in a remote setup where it's hard to express gratitude directly. I think the whole connection with Slack could be improved. If it was integrated and I didn't have to go to my browser to do something, that would be great. Also, as the company size grows rapidly, it's easy for us to get lost in all the appreciation, with some 10 appreciations done in a day. I don't like that it's not easy to exchange sizes. I ordered something from my company store and not only did I not know who to contact, but I was ultimately not able to exchange.
