**What do you like best about HireTrace?**

After trying a few different hiring platforms, HireTrace has been the one that worked best for our team, and overall, the experience has been really positive.

The interface is clean, modern, and easy to navigate. Setting up our hiring pipeline was straightforward, and the overall workflow feels very intuitive even for non-technical users.

The HRIS and Office 365 Calendar integrations work smoothly and have removed a lot of manual onboarding and interview scheduling work. Keeping interviews, candidate updates, and communication in one place has made coordination much easier.

The platform has been fast and reliable so far. Candidate progression, AI summary, CV reviews, one-way interviews, reference checks, assessments handling, interview scheduling, and automated workflows all run smoothly without delays or confusion.

The pricing model is one of our biggest advantages. Since we only hire occasionally, paying only when actively hiring makes far more sense than expensive monthly contracts.

Account setup and getting started with hiring were surprisingly quick. We had our first vacancy fully set up with a few evaluation steps in around 15-20 minutes. Support has also been excellent whenever we needed help, with fast and genuinely helpful responses.

The automated CV filtering, candidate progression, reviewer scoring, and hiring workflows save a huge amount of manual work. The automation feels practical and actually improves the hiring process instead of adding complexity.

**What do you dislike about HireTrace?**

We haven’t run into any major issues so far. Everything has been working really well for our team right now.

**What problems is HireTrace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

helped us to automate a large part of our hiring workflow, which significantly reduced the amount of manual coordination and repetitive admin work involved in recruitment. It also helped lower our hiring costs by replacing multiple separate tools with one platform.

One of the biggest benefits is being able to evaluate candidates using multiple evaluation methods in the same system, including CV reviews, screening questions, one-way interviews, live interviews, assignments, quizzes, and reference checks. This gives us a much more structured and consistent hiring process.

Another major advantage is having all hiring records, candidate communication, interview feedback, and evaluation results stored in one place. It has made collaboration easier for the team and improved overall visibility throughout the hiring process.

**What do you like best about HireTrace?**

We have been using HireTrace for a few months now and it has simplified our entire hiring process in ways we did not expect.
The CV review is so much cleaner now. We set up a reviewer pool, HireTrace distributes the CVs automatically and pulls everyone's scores and feedback together. No email chains, no chasing anyone.
One way video interviews have been great for early screening. Candidates record whenever works for them, no downloads, no signups needed. We rarely get dropouts and the process moves much faster now.
We also stopped using Zoom for interviews. The live video tool built into HireTrace works just as well and keeping everything in one place makes a big difference.
Reference checks used to drag on for days. The automated checks actually get responses without us having to follow up manually. That alone removed a lot of stress from the final stages.
The calendar integration with Google Calendar works really smoothly too. Interview invites sync up automatically and there is no manual back and forth at all.
Support has been really good whenever we needed help. Quick responses over live chat and they actually solve the problem properly rather than just pointing you to a help article.
Pricing is really straightforward. Pay per candidate profile, no seat fees, no monthly minimums. The whole team is on it at no extra cost.

**What do you dislike about HireTrace?**

Honestly nothing major. The product does exactly what it promises and then some.

**What problems is HireTrace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We cut down the time we spend on screening significantly. CV reviews are faster, interviews are smoother and reference checks no longer hold up the process. The whole hiring cycle feels much more in control now compared to before.

**What do you like best about HireTrace?**

We started using HireTrace when we needed a proper hiring process but didn't have a dedicated HR team. Manually sifting through hundreds of CVs was exhausting and the automation changed everything for us.

Getting started was surprisingly quick. It took us around 10 minutes to set up our first vacancy, which was impressive. We were able to create a fully custom hiring evaluation flow for the role, covering screening questions, automated CV filters, CV shortlisting, interviews, and reference checks, and it had everything we needed right out of the box. They also offer one-way interviews, home assignments, and quizzes, which we haven't explored yet but are good to know are there.

The automated flow is what I liked most. Candidates move forward automatically based on our scores, so there's very little manual work involved. With other tools I've used, you had to drag every single candidate from one stage to the next, which gets tedious fast. HireTrace eliminates that entirely.

The interview scheduling feature alone saves a significant amount of time for both our interviewers and candidates. The UI is also refreshingly straightforward and our team figured it out quickly without any formal training, which matters a lot when you don't have dedicated HR staff.

The pay-per-candidate pricing model is a genuine standout for a small company like ours that only hires a few times a year. When we're actively hiring, we pay. When we're not, we don't pay anything. It's simple and fair.

If you're a lean team that needs a structured, professional hiring process without the overhead of a full HR function, HireTrace is well worth trying.

**What do you dislike about HireTrace?**

Honestly, nothing significant so far. We've been happy with the product and it has delivered on everything we needed. If anything changes as we continue using it, I'll update this review.

The biggest problem it solved was bringing structure to our hiring process without needing a dedicated HR team. Before HireTrace, we were manually going through hundreds of CVs, moving candidates around by hand, and coordinating interviews over email. It was time consuming and easy to lose track of applicants. The recruitment automation cut down a significant amount of time and effort, from CV filtering and shortlisting to scheduling and candidate progression, freeing us up to focus on making the right hiring decisions rather than managing the process itself.

We started using HireTrace when we needed a proper hiring process but didn’t have a dedicated HR team. Going through hundreds of CVs manually was exhausting, and the automation really helped.

we mainly use the CV shortlisting, one-way interviews, inbuilt video interviews, reference checks, and interview scheduling features. The interview scheduling alone saves a lot of time for both our interviewers and candidates. We also love that candidates move through the pipeline based on feedback scores, so there’s way less manual dragging and dropping profiles.

**What do you like best about HireTrace?**

Onboarding was really quick and smooth. It took us around 30 minutes to set up the first vacancy, which was honestly impressive. We were able to create a custom hiring evaluation flow for the role and it had everything we needed. Screening questions, automated CV filters, CV shortlisting, interviews and reference checks. They also have take one-way interviews, home assignments and quizzes but we haven’t tried those yet.

What I liked most is the automated flow. Candidates automatically move forward based on our scores. With other tools I’ve used, I had to manually move every single candidate from one stage to another, which gets annoying fast.

As a small company that only hires a few times a year, the pricing model works perfectly for us. We only pay when we are actively hiring. When we’re not hiring, we don’t pay anything.

So far nothing, we are happy with the product

**What problems is HireTrace solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small team, we need to hire the best talent. To do that, we have to evaluate hundreds of candidates. Without a properly sized internal HR team, processing that many applications isn’t easy, which is why we started looking for an ATS. However, with most ATS tools I tried, we still had to do a lot of manual work. HireTrace automates most of it and also offers pay per candidate pricing, which makes it a perfect fit for us.
