Very simple to use, interface is clean and straightforward. We used the Results, Robots and Analytic module within the Highbond platform and Galvanize has made significant improvements in the integration of these modules. The data visualization with story boarding has been improved a lot over last 2 years and streamlined for making simple and meaningful storyboard from the results data generated from the desktop analytic and robot. Highbond is doing a good job integrating the download/extracting from source data, then pushing flagged exceptions to GRC Results Module and then results are linked to the Storyboard which allows easy sharing for management to make timely decisions. The whole data preparation and analytic process can be automated and with the introduction of Robots. Robot tasks can be rescheduled and run automatically (replacing AX exchange server). We also use the Results Questionnaire tool to for distribution of survey and for event registration, the questionnaire can be very helpful in to ask questions about exceptions identified in the analytics. The storyboard and design of dashboard needs more improvement, currently it can only handle smaller datasets and other visualization tools like Tableau software offers better graphics, visuals and more control over design of dashboards. The robot and storyboard products are still fairly new and will need more development or improvements. Complex licensing/pricing with the different modules and products. I like how the ACL Analytics part can handle large sets of data (and from different sources), and being able to run multiple analysis on this data without having to write codes repeatedly or adjusting much. Once you create queries and automation, you can work with different sets of data and perform the same analysis repeatedly. For certain scenarios or uses, you might find yourself wanting to go back to SQL, coding, Excel or any other tools, it all depends on the specific needs. The fact that this is software is cloud based makes it revolutionary and readily accessible across different devices and the fact that it prides in effective monitoring and efficient observations key for compliance and proper auditing and given that there is timely service and a great support team makes it worth having and builds in us the already subscribed clients a pride in association with this software. I like that there are many options for working with data and process-based information. The ability to take large datasets and analyze them quickly with repeatable scripting and an easy-to-understand language is an amazing value. I wish it was clearer how Galvanize's toolsets work together, and I would like to see more intuitive interfaces for the user. Also, performance on relatively simple operations in Results and other HighBond modules needs to improve. More clarity about how the tools work technologically would be incredibly helpful, as would more robust documentation and help on integrating Galvanize's toolsets with other powerful tools for analysis and visualization. I would like the ability to more effectively use the tools without having to rely on expertise from Galvanize. Trainings and other resources on how such tools as Python and R can be used alongside Analytics/HighBond/etc. would be a great area to build out, as I don't currently see a lot of information out there about those areas. I would also like to hear more about how Galvanize's products can integrate with Power BI and Tableau. I dislike the insufficient capabilities for customers to customize and configure the product. I hate the fact that it is only a cloud-offering. I also do not appreciate the years that HighBond has received the lion's share of Galvanize's energy and resources for development, over ACL Analytics, AX Server and now even Robot Agent. Scripting Capabilities! I also love the community. When I have questions about how to implement a test or analytic, I first submit a question on the Community board. I almost always receive a helpful reply within a couple hours. The scrip hub and help docs are also great. I have found that through my knowledge of and ability to combine data from different sources, I am now sought after from other leaders in my org to provide meaningful data analysis and information. Also, the analytics tool has a steep learning curve, however in response to that Galvanize Academy has incredible and relevant content. Plus, as a CPA, I am able to earn CPE credit through the courses I take. I'm also a fan of the summit event. Even though this year, the summit was forced to go virtual as opposed to live/in-person due to COVID-19, the team did a great job. I am always inspired by the real life use-cases of the analytics platform and often come away from the event eager to increase my own abilities with scripting. Overall, the analytics platform has increased my ability to produce results and meaningful content for my boss (our CFO) much quicker with accuracy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The price has increased about 40% since obtaining the analytics product 5 years ago. However I did gain more users with the price increase so that has helped embrace the cost increase. Again, related to cost, to upgrade to full Highbond (not just Analytics), the cost would quadruple. As someone working in Not-for-Profit, I am very dollar conscious. HighBond simply automates repetitive tasks by connecting to different data sources. The robot is an extraordinary feature that monitors our data in real-time and flag if any suspicious or anomalies activity is detected. The ACL "encodes" the activities performed as well as enables you to repeat them with one click. The ACL records the actions performed and may be copied to a script and executed at any time, so that the entire process can be executed without the expertise of the programming language. The ACL has the capability to turn PDFs into tables, but the PDFs should be very easy and the columns should stay easy to skip. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the functionality of the robots. It is great to be able to create tasks, set triggers and have questionnaires and emails sent automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are some limitations that I wish could be fixed. For example, I wish that when creating a questionnaire, if you choose the wrong type of question, you could just pick from a drop down list and switch the question type on the fly. I wish that the storyboards were a lot more dynamic. There are so many great charts and KPIs out there and it seems like the story boards are so limited. One of my favorite things is how easy and simple it is to use. I am new to HighBond and I was able to pick up quickly how to navigate and utilize the tool quickly. Another thing I really like is that am able to quickly identify issues with our teams testing. I found the platform very easy to implement and use. After only a few short sessions and some online training, I felt I had a very good understanding of the capabilities and how to use them. HighBond GRC allows the flexibility to adapt its product to meet our Company needs. The ability to link risk assessments to regulatory requirements to internal audit testing eliminates gaps to ensure regulatory compliance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
