What do you like best about HeyGen?

I like HeyGen for its user-friendly interface and customizable AI avatars.

What do you like best about HeyGen?

The interface is clean and, when it works, setup is fast and the avatars look decent. Rendering speed is good and the workflow is straightforward. Unfortunately, these positives are completely outweighed by recent instability and the way support handles issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeyGen?

I am a paying customer running real production work, and my experience has been awful. Since August 11, a clear regression in Portuguese TTS started splitting words with awkward pauses across all voices and engines, making videos unusable. I provided examples, reproduction steps, and test renders. Instead of real troubleshooting, support kept sending copy‑paste replies: asking repeat questions I had already answered, suggesting irrelevant features (like Voice Mirroring), warning me not to reply because “each new message pushes your ticket to the bottom,” and trying to move the case to a call without giving any update, workaround, or ETA. We’re now on August 14 and I still have no ETA, no engineering notes, and no fix.

This feels dishonest: stalling and deflecting rather than acknowledging a platform‑wide bug and resolving it. It has halted my production, forced me to keep a chat window open for hours just to get generic answers, and cost time and money with clients.
