Not sure how the team worked, but it seems that all of their staff knows about the current issues and status, which saves time and hassle of re-explaining the same problem over again. The software is straightforward and user friendly, simple enough for someone with no tech experience to use it. The team will also guide you step by step on the migration process. They are able to run/re-run a demo for you, and fix any issues faced, before the real migration occurs. The devs team also were able to cater to our customization of fields needed and how it will be mapped from 2 different platforms. They were also able to select which tickets to migrate, and migrate it by groups if you wish. They are open to listen to your issues, and help you with what you are facing. **What do you dislike about Help Desk Migration Services?** They were not able to estimate how long it will take to migrate (depending on API) which gives us the anxiety. Luckily enough, it took as fast as 4 days (including checks) to migrate 80k tickets. There were no specific timeline on what should be done first, to what should be last, which gives you the flexibility to decide. After the process was completed, then only we realised that mandatory fields (dropdown fields) needed a value to be migrated over, and the software will take the first value of your dropdown (even if there was no value required/exception for that specific group). Wished we have known this earlier before the migration, we would have marked the field to be non mandatory. Again, luckily enough this is not a major issue for us. There was also issue that a Zendesk reply becomes a Freshdesk private note, hence if the Sender is not a Freshdesk Agent, automatically the first agent will be set as Sender in Freshdesk. This could be a Zendesk vs Freshdesk feature difference, but it did look weird after the migration. **What problems is Help Desk Migration Services solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to migrate from Zendesk to Freshdesk, with large data/content and attachments. Help Desk Migration did quite a good job, ticking almost all the criteria. We benefited having historical data Zendesk to Freshdesk, without losing all the important content. ### 10. The Migration of over 20,000 support tickets from our old system, HelpScout, to a new more robust system, Re-Amaze, was completed with great success. We had a couple of bumps along the way but they were my own user errors, and the support team at Help Desk Migration was able to correct my mistakes very fast. The migration of records itself takes a very long time! We tried to do migration for 2 mailboxes overnight to be less disruptive. But when they were finally finished, everything was there and working great in the new help desk system. What happened was that the target system assigned the first item in the list as a default. We migrated 23k records and this only affected about 125 records and once they were migrated the could not be changed.
