"Lightweight, Fast, and Versatile SQL Client for Effortless Database Management"
What do you like best about HeidiSQL?

HeidiSQL is lightweight, fast, and extremely efficient for managing databases. It offers an intuitive interface that makes it easy to browse tables, run queries, edit data, and manage connections without unnecessary complexity. The query editor is responsive and supports syntax highlighting, auto-completion, and multiple tabs, which makes working with SQL much easier. It also supports multiple database engines including MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and SQLite making it a very versatile tool for developers and DB admins. Its performance and simplicity make it one of the best free SQL clients available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HeidiSQL?

The UI, while simple and functional, feels slightly outdated compared to modern database tools. Some advanced features, such as visual schema design or built-in query optimization suggestions, are missing. Occasionally, large result sets can cause slowdowns. However, considering its speed, stability, and the fact that it is free, these limitations are minor and manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
