Gumlet Reviews & Product Details

I'm a solopreneur and need a video player and cloud based solution for a variety of video styles and educational videos. Saw this, grabbed the deal, and am extremely suprised at how easy it is to embed on wordpress, able to utilize with another saas product I have, and also utilize with automation services. Haven't had any issue with playback or page speed, and gumlet has been pretty responsive to questions. Highly reccommend! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Bit of a learning curve, similar to what others have pointed out, but nothing impossible to learn. Again, support is great for if you need it, and if you browse through FAQ one should be able to pick up on what is needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is easy to master and to understand and the user interface is appealing and remarkably user-friendly. The embedded videos are incredibly swift, with no delay or buffering whatsoever. High storage limits, no streaming limits, fast playback, customizable, and a fast support. The videos and the images are processed for optimal delivery, automatically, and everything is customizable. The HLS encryption, analytics, and the custom domains are super useful. All Great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gumlet is a great tool for hosting videos. We use it for our content to publish it on our own websites.

I really like the DRM protection feature and the ability to fully edit the videos in a backend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You can tell in some places that the platform is still under construction, so there is still some potential to improve the quality of the features. For example, the stream function. All in all, I am very satisfied so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is not a big deal, really but it took me a few minutes to find my way around and identify the settings. I had to ask support a few questions about where to find things but they were very quick and in the end helped me find everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Uploading videos was straightforward, either from my local drive or others (Dropbox, OneDrive, Link, Google Drive, Vimeo, S3, Wistia). I liked the ability to password protect videos and get URLs and embed codes, that I could use with my WordPress website. The analytics gave me a nice graph of viewing usage, which allows me to delete unpopular videos and thus upload newer videos and thus stay within my storage limit. Going to a different section, such as "Edit Details" of a video, opened a new tab, meaning I could not use the back button, but would need to close the new (Details) tab. Maybe there is an option to change this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
