Gumlet offers an intuitive interface and seamless navigation, making it incredibly easy to use. I’ve been using Gumlet to upload and manage footage from our dodgeball leagues, and it's been working as intended. Having a centralized repository for all our video content ensures quick and smooth access, whether we’re sharing highlights, creating promotional content, or archiving games for future reference. The subscribers across channels seems a little bit low for us. I guess we will be using YouTube mainly for subscription based so I guess it doesn't make sense to me why Gumlet chooses to structure it in this way. The dual-DRM security protects against piracy very well, which is very important to me for keeping my material safe. I can also keep my brand's personality while giving viewers an interesting experience thanks to the video player's customization choices. Gumlet offers speedy transcoding, easy hosting, and responsive streaming of my film media. I appreciate the privacy features, e.g. password-protecting my videos and even giving me the ability to geo-block certain countries from accessing my content. Also, the automated AI subtitling, the extensive analytics and reports, that it offers direct download links, player customization and - in my case - a very attractive value proposition with the current lifetime deal. While the quality of the UI ranges from quite nice to impressive, it could still be improved further. However, they are actively working on this and other features. The video library and playlist system are good and sufficient for my needs, but the integration of a folder system would be much appreciated. An optional column for privacy in the video list would be great, showing at a glance which videos are password protected, unlisted, public, private, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I got a Tier 6 from Appsumo's Black Friday Deal 2024. By far the best options to choose from?

1) You can host not only videos (Up to 4k Resolution), but they also provide Image CDN (Which is not the best value in terms of pricing IMO). With their Image CDN, and if you're hosting your website in Wordpress, you can easily turn on Gumlet's Image CDN with just one click. Simple & easy. DRM protected feature is also a value added ones.

2) Choosing a CDN we will see how good the delivery speed of the content (video or image), in my case, Gumlet's bandwidth are blazingly fast. Although I did not test it on 4k Video, 1080p video are no bufferings at all, just play instantly. Also, the publishing options widget makes it easier to embed in websites, emails, or share URLs easily.

3) Best for Freelancers / SMEs / Influencers which would like to share their high quality video contents on their desired platform (Either websites, social media platform, email). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) Gumlet's Image CDN (Which is not the best value in terms of pricing IMO) is a separate pricing compared with their Video CDN. Felt that there are cheapest solutions when comes to Image CDN, such as Bunny CDN, Imgix, Strapi etc)

2) In Gumlet's "Collection", this act as a workspace where I could categorize my videos. Gumlet's Video unable to move video that was uploaded from a collection to another collection. I did contact their support and they have confirmed that the feature will not be implemented in the near future as well (https://feedback.gumlet.com/feature-requests/p/move-videos-between-collections).

3) One thing to take note while using Gumlet's Image CDN Wordpress plugins. In my website's Gumlet settings, lazy load image activated, auto compress image activate, use original images activated, browser webp detect activated, Use width activated. I'm using Bricks builder as page builder, if Gumlet CDN is activated, sometimes it will cause Bricks Builder Page builder turns blank page. I'll keep Gumlet plugin deactivated if I would like to do edit and turn it on later on. Maybe there can be some improvement in this area.

4) Lastly, it's the quota limitation for Videos uploaded to the server (Count by minutes). Would be happier if it's file storage or video quantities rather than minutes as it felt inssuficient. Also, in my Appsumo Tier 6 package did not include Image CDN & DRM. The offer is not full fledged, some services allowed subscriptions only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We host our teaching videos on Gumlet to be embedded on our Canvas and Moodle LMS. We love the affordability and features available for the cost, compared to other providers (e.g. Vimeo, Vidyard, etc). Also, here are a list of things we find interesting and lovable about Gumlet: 1. Logo in the player for branding makes for professional appearance 2. Video analytics (with insights) allows us to gauge viewer interest and completion rates (we will try to do A/B testing) 3. Embedding is easy thanks to support of oEmbed, Embedly, & iFramely 4. User management with roles helps us onboard all our team members with roles that define their permissions. 5. We don't have a few features (as of July 2023, updated June 2024) we would love to see on Gumlet: 1. Bubble videos that can be embedded or have them pop up on pages 2. Interactive videos with branching (so that viewers can jump to spots within the video or have videos load based on responses) 3. Pabbly Connect which is an affordable and great alternative to Zapier, Make, etc available as a lifetime deal. 4. A/B testing for videos 5. User contribution facility (to allow our learners and viewers to contribute videos by sending them a link - these can be response videos too) 6. Direct URL to the Video: The HLS URL (.m3u8) provided cannot be used on H5P Interactive Video - This has been a huge let down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the ability to embed videos almost anywhere and have them load instantaneously. It's great for VSLs and intro videos on your home pages or other landing page, especially if you're going to send ad traffic since speed is an important factor for conversions. I would have liked some free custom domains included and maybe a little bit more storage, but it's pretty fair-priced to add custom domains. Gumlet is great for having premium video hosting like YouTube, but without ads or video suggestions at the end of the video. For me, it was important to have chapters, subtitles, and CTA for a modern premium look and feel, but also to have some DRM protection to avoid having my videos reuploaded somewhere else.
