Gumlet Reviews & Product Details

I appreciate the simplicity of migrating content from Vimeo to Gumlet. This was a major concern for us since we have a large volume of videos on Vimeo. The straightforward and clean interface of Gumlet made this transition smooth, minimizing our worries about the migration process and allowing us to adopt the platform swiftly without significant disruption. I find the user experience to be clean and simple, which enhances the overall usability of the service. Additionally, the cost-effectiveness of Gumlet compared to Vimeo is a significant benefit, along with the efficient use of bandwidth. These factors play an essential role not only in reducing our operational expenses but also in ensuring that the service remains reliable and efficient for our needs. Overall, the ease of setup and positive migration experience from a more expensive platform like Vimeo to Gumlet has resulted in a substantial improvement in our video hosting processes. I would have liked an import feature from YouTube. The user interface is clean and simple but could use some modernization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how quickly videos upload on Gumlet, as it is essential for the efficiency of my work when offering online mentoring. The video and audio quality is outstanding, ensuring that my students can access session recordings with the quality they deserve, whether live or on-demand. This is crucial since they have paid for a high-quality experience. Additionally, the ability to add unlimited subtitles is an invaluable feature because it allows students to follow the content without needing audio, significantly improving accessibility and meeting my students' expectations. Also, the user interface of Gumlet is very easy to use, even for someone like me who is not particularly tech-savvy, making the user experience intuitive and straightforward by presenting all functionalities clearly. Lastly, I am very satisfied with the ease of initial setup and have recommended it to several people, which reflects how valuable I consider the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes, due to the high volume of video downloads by users, there may be delays of a few minutes in downloading the videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate Gumlet's capability to manage and share videos in a professional manner with remarkably fast delivery, which is a significant improvement over other platforms I've used. The best thing is that any video uploaded and managed does not lose its quality and can be re-downloaded in its original state, preserving the integrity of the content. Moreover, the speed at which videos are delivered is impressive, making the experience seamless. The new admin user interface stands out for being well-designed and easy to navigate, enhancing my overall experience. Transitioning to Gumlet was seamless since the setup was straightforward and the settings were very clear, allowing me to quickly start using the platform without any hassles. I feel that the individual video page player is a bit basic and doesn't match the rest of the Gumlet theme and design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gumlet has a really simple interface but professional and well thought out. I love that it has a migration, that was a feature I was looking for. The hosting is fast and has every feature I'd really needed to see to make the switch from a competitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At this point, I don't have any complaints. It has the features I need and it's simple to upload and set the settings for each video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love using Gumlet for video hosting and distribution because it ensures the reliability of video delivery and is cost-effective compared to other products in the market. I really appreciate the video play customization options and the CNAME feature, which enable me to seamlessly blend my brand for users. These features significantly enhance my ability to present a consistent and professional brand experience. Moreover, the initial setup was relatively easy, making the transition to Gumlet smooth and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I dislike the limited native integration with automation platforms, such as ActivePieces. This lack of integration options can hinder the ability to seamlessly automate workflows and connect Gumlet with other tools that are essential for our operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how Gumlet manages protection from both piracy and privacy. I can set that only certain domains can stream my videos, dynamic watermarks, and DRMs. It already works really well, and I also appreciate the recently implemented features like call to actions inside videos and automatically generated subtitles. The initial setup was very easy; I can upload, directly use APIs, and share videos like from YouTube. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing in particular. Maybe the fact that upload can get stuck for big files but it will unstuck if I refresh Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that they do 1 thing and they do it very well. From the UI to features/functionality and the customer service... it's all A+ Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fact that you can't really grow a subscriber base with Gumlet like you can with YouTube. I know it's primarily for private videos but I would love to see them expand in that direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gumlet has come to the rescue for me with videos. Product videos, Course videos, even movies! It's like a Vimeo but built for security and fun! Plus the team is just so kind and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not fair, but I'd love it if I could create a course inside of the platform. Rather than host elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use Gumlet for video hosting on my courses and e-learning platform, and it solves a very big problem for me with its smooth video hosting, no monthly fees, and excellent customization as per my needs. I like its interface and customization features along with the security for my videos. The initial setup was very easy, and I had no issues at all. recently there is no dislike all required features are there for my work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Gumlet works out of the box with an easy but deep configuration process: upload your videos, select playback options, fine-tune resolution, enable DRM protection, and embed. Integration is a breeze with code ready to be copied and pasted across different contexts. Unlimited bandwidth in livestreaming is another pro. Gumlet has become the backbone of our private video delivery infrastructure, and it's been dependable and fast from day 1. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wish we could have more private channel subscribers for our content via Gumlet. Also, Fairplay credentials are needed to ensure playback on iOS devices, but this requires a paid Apple developer account. It would be fantastic if there were a way to make this process smoother or less pricey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
