The browser extension works reliably and has kept me away form potentially problematic sites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being a website owner, I was concerned when my own website got incorrectly flagged by Guardio as "suspicious". The support dept confirmed it was an error (fine, it happens..)...but THE MOST worry and disconcerting part is that I was not notified by Guardio that they had flagged my site.
Potential losses (arising from incorrect flagging by Guardio) for e-commerce websites are huge. My email correspondence with them evidences that they really don't care about the damaging effect their errors can have, they have no interest in alerting website owners that their site has been flagged. I raised the issue multiple times but they won't talk about it.
Errors occur, I get it, but at least give us website owners the chance to BE AWARE of the issue and address the issue. Knowing that website owners are not alerted by Guardio brings a load of trust issues with it. Thus, I no longer trust their product (and won't be renewing the subscription) and neither can I recommend their product because their due diligence and interest in being answerable for their actions is lacking.
How can you trust a service that flags websites without alerting the website owner? To me, it's corporate arrogance. If I hadn't spotted the issue, it could have gone un-noticed for a long time (with loss of business etc). Come on Guardio! Give some thought for website owners and at least alert us to the issue (easy done with automation etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
