This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review. **Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2026 **What do you like best about Greenway Health Patient Portal?** There are very few things that I liked about Greenway, but some of them were that specific important patient documents (HIPAA, Insurance forms, power of attorney, and other demographic information) was very easy to access and keep up to date. This caused less issues with patient care especially working with medicare patients who are older, a lot of times they have someone on their HIPAA form call to check on results like husband, wife, daughter, son, etc. and being able to see who is allowed to see the patient chart improved patient care. I also liked the sorting option in the files/documents and how everything in there was labeled and organized. Integration to epic from greenway was somewhat difficult because we also used Canopy at the same time as greenway. **What do you dislike about Greenway Health Patient Portal?** I dislike that when I was having problems with Greenway and I spoke with their team alongside my supervisor, they were not helpful (I was unable to copy and paste into patient charts with any kind of punctuation even though it's a required part of my job as a scribe). I also dislike how often it glitches and we have lost entire notes many times, even when we saved regularly. It came to a point at the end before we switched to Epic where everyone knew better than to type a note directly in Greenway because it would often crash and you would lose everything. I did not like that patients could not see their chart information in Greenway. I also did not like that there were so many physical exam sections and pretty much either provider had a different one and sometimes it even varied by visit which caused confusion. I don't know what we are paying so I can't speak to that, but so far Epic has been difficult to use, but not as difficult as greenway with frequent crashes and glitches. **What problems is Greenway Health Patient Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem it solved was being able to keep almost all of the patient information in one place, readily available, and fairly easy to search which made patient care better and moved visits along more smoothly. ### 2. It looks like something used in the early 2000s. Clicking everything is a hassle when filling out the patient chart. You can’t order meds through it and need to use a separate system. It also has a lot of technical issues, such as slowing down or simply not starting up or freezing and not working for several hours. I can type with no glithces. **What do you dislike about Greenway Health Patient Portal?** I do not like that Greenway crashes every day. We integrated it with Canopy, and it takes a very long time for data from greenway to transfer to Canopy. The look of the app is highly outdated in design and efficiency. I will click a button and it takes a decent amount of time to load. **What problems is Greenway Health Patient Portal solving and how is that benefiting you?** None that I know of because we have complained plenty of times about the crashing and nothing has changed. Ability to ask queries to the physicians through secure messaging is another very useful feature. Patients can access their dosage instructions, this feature helps in mitigating any kind of confusion that they may have with regard to their medications. **What do you dislike about Greenway Health Patient Portal?** Can be a little intimidating to use in the beginning; however, one gets used to it with time.
