## About graphapi
graphapi® is a no-code backend builder allowing frontend-, backend-, and citizen developers to publish a fully managed GraphQL server in minutes. In addition to its robust and scalable technology built on Amazon Web Services (AWS), our platform features an intuitive interface allowing knowledge workers to easily input and manage data while providing developers with a GraphQL interface for programmatic access to the same data. Our cloud automation backend allows teams to focus on their customers and users rather than worrying about the upkeep of servers and databases. A GraphAPI serves as a single source of truth and consists of highly scalable NoSQL database, a fully configured backend, and a GraphQL interface.

## graphapi Reviews
  ### 1. Best tool for the customers and users on the API need in GraphQL

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Balamurugan D. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about graphapi?**

GraphAPI provides the server side runtime API for executing the queries on GraphQL data. It allows the app developers can inject this code into the application for the GraphQL mutation.

**What do you dislike about graphapi?**

GraphQL is generally the querying language for retrieving the data from the server. But the REST API CRUD operations are widely used for the data manipulation. So, REST API endpoints can be added in the project data model.

**What problems is graphapi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to solve the request and response (microservice) of the data from the web server for our users or customers. It is very useful tool to manage the GraphQL endpoints for the products.

  ### 2. One of the popular Alternative to REST Based APIs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about graphapi?**

One of the best features of Graphapi is it reduces network calls by combining multiple requests in a single Call. It provides us with schema introspection capabilities

**What do you dislike about graphapi?**

It is quite complex to understand, another problem is rate limiting in REST APIs we can specify the API call limit per hour/ per day, but we don't have it in graph API. ALso Caching is complicated.

**What problems is graphapi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Graphapi helps serve multiple requests in a single API call, and It also enables us to add datatypes while building schema for the client. Graphapi looks just like REST structure and it is different from graphQL which is one of the specification of graph API,

  ### 3. Turning a chicken into a full stack / BE developer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver S. | Mentor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about graphapi?**

For me, who has no coding skills or engineering background, but all the knowledge about my business, processes etc, it was super easy to model the data structure. It actually helped me improve my own view on my data, based on how I can work with it on graphAPI.

**What do you dislike about graphapi?**

I am more of a visual type, so working on a structure without modelling it visually was a bit of a challenge for me, but I guess that's just me...

**What problems is graphapi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It let's me provide and maintain all my data in a proper API way, so various of my existing interfaces can now work with it.

  ### 4. Lightning fast backend as a service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David P. | Advisory Board, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about graphapi?**

Graph API has built a tech stack that is freaking awesome – primarily because you can build all the backend infrastructure you need in an hour rather than months.

**What do you dislike about graphapi?**

Graphapi is good for creating MVPs and PoC products fast, but some services might need another backend stack.

**What problems is graphapi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create PoCs and MVPs really fast.
