## Grammarly Reviews
 ### 1. Instantly Clearer Writing with Smart, Real-Time Suggestions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prajjwal S. | Junior Associate, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is how it improves my writing instantly with smart suggestions.
It helps me communicate more clearly and confidently in emails, chats, and documents.
The clean interface and real-time corrections make writing faster and easier every day.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

What I dislike about Grammarly is that some suggestions feel too robotic and change my original tone.
The premium features can also feel expensive for regular users.
Sometimes the tool over-corrects sentences that were already clear and natural.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves writing problems by correcting grammar, spelling, and punctuation mistakes in real time.
It also improves clarity and tone, helping users write more professional and effective messages.
By giving instant suggestions, it saves time and boosts confidence while communicating.

 ### 2. Effortless Writing Enhancement Across All Platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiwari S. | Systems Integration Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I appreciate most about Grammarly is how effortlessly it enhances my writing as I work. It not only catches grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors right away, but also offers suggestions for clearer phrasing and improved tone, all while preserving my original meaning. The integration with browsers and apps means I can use it across different platforms, from emails to documents, making it feel like a discreet writing assistant. Instead of disrupting my process, it helps me feel more confident and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

What I find frustrating about Grammarly is that some of its advanced suggestions can come across as overly forceful or too generic, particularly when I'm working on creative or informal pieces. There are times when it misreads the context and recommends changes that don't really fit the tone I want. Additionally, a lot of the most helpful features are only available in the premium version, which can be restrictive for those of us who depend on the free plan.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly addresses the challenges of unclear, error-prone, and inconsistent writing by offering real-time suggestions for grammar, spelling, clarity, and tone. It helps me catch mistakes that might otherwise go unnoticed and enhances the flow of my sentences, resulting in more professional and effective communication. This tool saves me time on proofreading, lowers the chances of miscommunication, and increases my confidence when composing emails, documents, or messages—particularly in situations where accuracy and clarity are essential.

 ### 3. Why Grammarly is Still a 9/10—But Why I Don’t Always Listen to It

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Krissy M. | Influencer Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Dynamic Tone Profiles
The tool is much more sensitive to how you sound, not just what you say. It gives you a real-time breakdown of your tone (e.g., optimistic, formal, direct, joyful). If you are trying to write a warm, engaging piece of content and Grammarly flags that you sound a bit too cold or dry, it gives you instant suggestions to inject some personality back into it.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The "Premium Tease": Grammarly will frequently underline a long or awkward sentence in blue, telling you it could sound clearer or more concise—but it hides the actual rephrased suggestion behind a paywall. It identifies the problem but refuses to give you the solution.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Plagiarism checking and Porof reading

 ### 4. Real-Time Writing Improvements That Boost Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sneh M. | Senior Customer Success Advisor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is the way it improves my writing in real time. It doesn’t just correct grammar and spelling errors; it also suggests clearer, more professional wording that makes my message easier to understand. It’s easy to use, saves me time, and helps me feel more confident about what I write.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

One thing I don’t like about Grammarly is that some of its best features are locked behind the paid version. The free version is still helpful, but more advanced suggestions—like tone improvements and clarity rewrites—often require an upgrade. It also sometimes recommends changes that don’t quite fit my writing style, so I don’t always agree with every suggestion.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me solve common writing problems like grammar mistakes, unclear phrasing, and tone issues. It lets me catch errors quickly and polish what I’ve written without spending too much time on editing. Overall, it benefits me by making my communication feel more professional, saving me time, and giving me more confidence in what I send.

 ### 5. Grammarly Helps Our Team Write with Confidence

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nyjil N. | Talent and Technology Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I love that Grammarly provides instant feedback with real-time suggestions as I write. It helps me improve my writing on the spot and gives me confidence while writing. I find it to be a time-saving tool that catches my mistakes and allows me to make changes to the tone of my sentences, helping to avoid misunderstandings. I also appreciate how simple and straightforward the setup was; I just signed up, downloaded the extension, and installed the app, and it works seamlessly with all my writing tools. We had seamlessly integrated Grammarly with Google workspace so it works with all Google apps we use. Their FAQ is quite vast, so we usually refer to it for self-help. The support team usually responds within a couple of hours upon sending an email. Our team use Grammarly on a daily basis for improving their writing skills and documentation.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I find that Grammarly sometimes has over suggestions which are not necessary or may alter the intended meaning. I also think it could benefit from more industry-specific guidance, providing domain-specific vocabulary and terminology while ignoring certain jargon.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves my common writing problems like poor grammar and spelling, while enhancing communication by making my messages clear and concise. Its instant feedback catches mistakes, improves my writing instantly, and saves time, giving me confidence. We have also referred Grammarly to a few of our clients and partners also.

 ### 6. A Writing Ally with Seamless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan V. | Therapist, Mental Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I use Grammarly for everything. I recently tried the extension and ended up subscribing to it because the suggestions, writing, and styling are really helping me become a better writer. Making corrections and seeing all the suggestions are actually quite fun, and I'm trying to learn how to write better, especially for my independent business. It provides a lot of suggestions and helps with grammar, writing in an active voice, and shows examples of good writing. I love that I can see the corrections and learn as I go, so it’s just great in helping me become a better, more effective writer, teaching me vocabulary and better sentence structure, and it helps me see errors quickly. I love the in-the-moment writing suggestions, and it's great that it prioritizes the active voice. The Chrome extension is just fantastic. Setting it up was seamless and perfect with no problems, and it's really flexible if I don’t want a suggestion at a certain time. Overall, it's really amazing, and I love the flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Nothing yet

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to help me with grammar, writing in an active voice, and improving sentence structure. It offers great suggestions and shows examples of good writing, helping me become a better, more effective writer quickly.

 ### 7. Writing Assistant for Professionals

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Livia P. | Marketing and Social Media Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how Grammarly underlines any issues in red, making it easy to spot errors at a quick glance and address them immediately. I also appreciate receiving a weekly writing update via email, which reports on how many words were analysed, the accuracy of my copy, and the detected tones in my work. The tone report is particularly useful for ensuring I write confidently and directly, and I can compare my reports from a year ago to see how my writing has evolved. I like how the free version of Grammarly is quite intuitive; even though some features are blocked by a paywall, the free version addresses the basic issues like typos, weak tones and incorrect punctuation - which is all that most people really need anyway. It's a great extension that I'd recommend for any corporate professional as an extra set of eyes over their work. The initial setup was very easy, with no complaints, as you just put in a few details and download the browser extension.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The pay wall can be frustrating because it hides some of Grammarly's suggestions. Grammarly also occasionally incorrectly corrects my work. This might be because I work in a niche industry with specific words and phrases, but it can be annoying to double-check the corrections it suggests.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct grammar and tone when writing emails, social media captions, and blogs. It highlights errors and suggests improvements, ensuring my communications are professional and confident. This helps me quickly address issues before sending or uploading.

 ### 8. Real-Time Typo Catching That Saves Me Time Every Day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carmel J. | Crm Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I really love how it catches my typos in real-time while I write. The suggestions are clear and it seamlessly fits into my browser, which saves me a lot of time every day.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

A few of the tone and vocabulary suggestions can feel a bit robotic, so I have to ignore them to keep my writing sounding natural.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me catch embarrassing typos and grammar mistakes before I send out important emails. It saves me time because I don't have to constantly double-check my writing, which gives me more confidence when communicating with clients.

 ### 9. Essential for Writing, Needs Better Word Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor W.

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I really love how Grammarly helps me with grammatical issues and cleans up misspellings. The tools related to spell check and grammar are super valuable to me. I also love the Grammarly item that was in Word because I could pull it down on the side tab and use it directly, which made it really easy to access.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I really do miss Grammarly being added in Word. Now not being able to have that does make it a little more difficult to use Grammarly through Microsoft Word.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly really helps me with grammatical issues and cleaning up a lot of misspellings using its spell check and grammar tools.

 ### 10. Instantaneous Error Correction, Slightly Pricey

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prahlad K. | Head of Operations & Supply Chain | Founding Team, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

It's integrated directly with my Gmail, sitting behind the scenes while I draft emails to stakeholders, clients, or vendors. It monitors my emails, auto-corrects, and sometimes gives suggestions, helping to polish my communications. Setting up Grammarly was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

The pricing. Overall, the features are great. Hopefully, they should somehow decrease a little bit of the price to make it more affordable.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Grammarly to correct my sentences and find spelling mistakes, saving time and reducing errors. It polishes my emails for stakeholder management, detects errors instantly, and integrates well with Gmail for real-time monitoring and suggestions.

 ### 11. User-Friendly AI Writing Companion with Helpful, Unique Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arunalo S. | Digital Marketing Executive, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Both the free and Paid both the plan works really well. Someone who is not strong enough in writing, Grammarly becomes a strong companion to them. The features are unique and really helpful. Pricing is decent. The UI and UX is very user-friendly. The AI is easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it didn't load on the browser, which is very frustrating, and that time again I had to reload the browser.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The English writing problem which most of the non english expet user faces. This is a very helpfull tool for people like us who is not expert.

 ### 12. Grammarly - I’m becoming a better writer

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darren C. | Senior product owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Quickly help me proof items, typically, email. Also, over time the ongoing corrections improve my use of language. Specifically, less use of passive tense

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Two things; absence of secure integrations with Microsoft365 mean I cannot use it for most work situations and since I cannot use it for work its really too expensive

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My own habitual writing. I’m getting better.

 ### 13. Grammarly is like having a calm, brilliant editor by your side — always

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arindam R. | Oracle IT Business Analyst III, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I love most about Grammarly is that it doesn’t just fix my writing — it elevates it. Whether I’m drafting professional emails, writing presentations, or journaling personal reflections, Grammarly acts like a thoughtful second brain. It catches not only grammar issues but also helps with tone, clarity, and flow — almost like it understands the intention behind my words. The real-time suggestions feel intuitive, non-intrusive, and often open my eyes to better ways of expressing myself. It’s confidence-boosting without being robotic — and in today’s fast-paced world, that’s rare.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

While Grammarly is incredible, there are moments when its tone suggestions can feel a bit too safe or overly formal, especially in more creative or emotionally expressive writing. At times, I wish it could better distinguish between artistic nuance and actual grammatical issues — but then again, no tool can fully replace the human voice. Still, these are minor trade-offs for what is overall a beautifully designed and highly useful platform.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly solves a problem I didn’t even realize was slowing me down — the mental clutter of second-guessing every sentence I write. Whether it’s an important client email or a quick internal note, it helps me write clearly, confidently, and with the tone I actually intend. It also helps reduce misunderstandings, especially in remote work settings where so much relies on written communication. For someone who juggles multiple tasks, Grammarly acts as a silent partner ensuring my message is not just correct, but effective — and that’s a game-changer.

 ### 14. Instant Grammar and Punctuation Alerts Before You Hit Send

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** toni a. | Office Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

What I like most about Grammarly is that it instantly notifies me of any punctuation and grammar mistakes before I submit emails or reports.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

What I like least about Grammarly is that it flags names—whether business or personal—so I have to constantly bypass the alerts.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me address common writing issues like grammar mistakes, spelling errors, and unclear wording. It also improves the tone and overall professionalism of my emails and documents. For me, this means I spend less time proofreading while still making sure my communication is clear, polished, and professional before I send messages or share documents. It also gives me more confidence that what I write is accurate and easy for others to understand.

 ### 15. A Must-Have Tool for Professional Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bảo Ngọc N. | I am working as a buyer in a local food and beverage manufacture., Food & Beverages, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I usually use Grammarly for writing reports, emails, and checking grammar for important messages sent to our partners. This app makes my writing more professional and helps avoid misunderstandings in crucial conversations. I love that it's free and gives me a helping hand in daily tasks. It's a useful app, especially for business. I think it's easy to use with a friendly platform, so we do not spend too much time looking for tools. The initial setup was easy, as I just use the web version, log in with my email, and start working without needing to install any software.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I suspect about the accuracy of Grammarly's editing. Honestly, I also use some other apps to cross-check. However, English is my second language, and I'm not really good at writing skills to determine if it's right or wrong.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly makes my writing more professional and prevents misunderstandings in crucial conversations. It's a free, useful app that helps with daily tasks.

 ### 16. Powerful Predictive Writing That Elevates Professional Writing and Speeds Editing and Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom R. | Founder & Learning Experience Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Powerful predictive writing tool that has elevated my professional writing while also speeding up my editing time.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes the predictive text is let’s say, not the best choice for the type of thing being written. It can be overly academic at times and too casual at others.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I write a lot of work, so Grammarly helps me ensure that client facing writing is free from error and awkward word choice.

 ### 17. Grammarly Keeps My Writing Clear and Polished

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen H. | Insurance Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

Grammarly helps me with the vast number of misspelled words I seem to create and helps ensure that paragraphs and sentences are well-written.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes, if I have not finished a sentence, a pop-up will not let me backspace until I input a punctuation.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making sure what I am inputting is written in the best message that I am looking for.

 ### 18. Help for small businesses

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy S. | Publications Editor, Publishing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I appreciate that they're trying to update Grammarly and make it better at catching complex errors and using industry jargon.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I still have an occasional suggestion that, if followed to the letter, is also flagged by Grammarly (telling me I should revert back to what I first wrote). The advantage is that I can send this to Grammarly in the hopes that they can use it to prevent such confusing feedback in the future.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work as an editor and content creator for a small nonprofit, and I can't always find people to look over everything I write or edit. Grammarly helps provide a second set of eyes, particularly to miss those little errors you sometimes miss in the material you create--like missing words or letters.

**Official Response from Yana M:**

> Hi Tim,

Thank you for sharing your insightful feedback with us! We're glad to hear that Grammarly helps you review your writing.

While we do offer a personal dictionary feature, it only helps to prevent specific spellings from being flagged as incorrect: https://gram.ly/cbbHWbj. We appreciate your suggestion and will be sure to share this request with our team.

Also, if you find cases where Grammarly provides suggestions in error, please feel free to share them with us via https://gram.ly/47tlPic so that our team can take a closer look.

Thanks again,
Grammarly Support team

 ### 19. Essential Writing Assistant for All Platforms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dotty S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that Grammarly integrates with all of my different writing platforms. I use WordPress, and it integrates right into their editor. I use GoHigh Level, and it integrates into their editor. I also use Word and Google Docs, and it integrates nicely into those as well.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes Grammarly randomly logs me out, and I don't realize it's not working. Also, I haven't quite figured out why, but sometimes it will underline words in various colors so I can easily fix them in the text. Other times, it doesn't do the underlining thing and instead puts everything into a little icon on the side, which is not as easy to work with.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly catches all types of typos, fixes punctuation, and rewrites my sentences to avoid passive voice, which is helpful for my dyslexia.

 ### 20. Essential Writing Companion for Authors

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like that with Grammarly, my book is finished when I'm done writing because it helps me with basic punctuation, grammar fixes, and suggestions. I also appreciate that Grammarly made the initial setup easy to do. I would definitely recommend it, as I rate it a 10 for writers or anyone who depends on their writing.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

I still miss the tab button corrections. The way it's done now forces me to change whole sentences, which I don't always want to do. Only the return of the tab button corrections.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps with basic punctuation, grammar fixes, and suggestions, making my book editing complete when I finish writing.

 ### 21. Easy to Use but Needs Refinements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex Y. | Senior Wireless Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I like how easy Grammarly is to use and how accurate it is in correcting my language. It's a simple pop up in my email that shows me errors and suggestions very easily, and it doesn't take much time to make corrections. The initial setup was incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

Sometimes it gets caught up in a loop where it makes a suggestion, I fix it, and then it makes a suggestion to change it back to the old thing, and it just goes back and forth without deciding what it wants to do.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Grammarly helps me present myself better in various communication efforts, whether formal or informal. It's easy to use, accurate in correcting my language, and shows errors and suggestions quickly, helping me articulate ideas despite not being the best at it.

 ### 23. Instant Sentence-Structure Feedback That Elevates My Writing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

The fact that I receive instant feedback on the structure of my sentences is a tremendous help for my writing.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

While I’m still drafting and working through my sentences, Grammarly often treats them as if they’re already finished and flags them as errors. That’s frustrating, because I’m fully aware the sentences aren’t complete yet and still need a full stop.

**What problems is Grammarly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

English is my third foreign language. I feel confident when I write in English. At the same time, I am aware that my writing does not feel and sound like a native speaker. Grammarly provides some help.

 ### 24. Easy to Use, Advanced AI, and Always-Available Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Grammarly?**

I primarily use Grammarly for everyday professional communication and content polishing. Its real-time feature gives suggestions to improve my tone and correct mistakes, which is a big time saver for me. Instead of writing the complete email or client communication and then correcting it later, this feature allows me to correct and rephrase things while I am in the moment. This immediate feedback helps me correct the email then and there, making my process more efficient. I also appreciate Grammarly's role in helping me create a professional tone, which is critical in maintaining a good client/stakeholder partnership. Finally, the initial setup of Grammarly was super easy for a newbie.

**What do you dislike about Grammarly?**

A main issue is the limitation with understanding context or industry-specific terms, like campaign jargon or performance marketing language. Grammarly sometimes misinterprets these phrases and gives irrelevant suggestions. For example, it treats standard industry terms like CTR, CPC, and CVR as general writing terms and flags them unnecessarily or suggests changes that don't really make sense.
