"Solid choice for managing complex IoT needs"
What do you like best about Golioth?

My favorite feature about Golioth is how it ease the process of managing devices in the field, for us to be able to update IoT devices. The ability to have real time synchronisation of data is a major advantage since it every problem is detected and corrected instantly. Including it also adds even more value when linking it with our analytics software where you can easily gather data and proactively work on enhancing our systems. What do you dislike about Golioth?

With Golioth, I experienced that some of the features can by get limited for complex configurations as our network expands. Flexibility in customizations is quite limited, so the ability to fit the system into certain niches may be an issue. Additionally, most of the implementation of the tool is quite easy, especially in the first instance, but most of the high level integration complexities take time and technical skills to implement, and this has been some of the causes of the delay in some of the processes. Response from Ariana Faustini of Golioth

Thank you for the feedback! As Golioth was designed to maximize IoT customization, I highly recommend you join our forums (https://forum.golioth.io) to discuss any challenges you're experiencing with the implementation. Our engineering team is highly active on the forum and we are happy to offer suggestions for platform extensibility and complex configurations. If you require additional support, our solutions team could also potentially help you: solutions@golioth.io.

"Efficient device configuration with a click"
What do you like best about Golioth?

The thing I like about Golioth for us is that we are able to run device configurations smooth without disturbing shift schedule. First of all, we do not have to physically access devices to save time and effort. Device control uses a user interface that is simple and effective with our team able to handle updates and changes easily. The result has been more productivity and less downtime, more or our work. What do you dislike about Golioth?

A downside of Golioth is that its interface is simple, but limited in what it can provide in query depth for control of certain device functions. It is definitely really useful to have updates and configurations managed this way, however, sometimes I wish there were more depth in customised settings. In addition, software can be slow to respond during heavy use, making it difficult for us to push an update or change when we need it the fastest. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
