"Feature-Rich Platform for Auctions and Standard Campaigns"

What do you like best about Givebutter?

It has the capabilities for Auction as well as standard campaigns. Seems to have the most functionality compared to other similar providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Givebutter?

I don't like that you have to manually transfer/withdraw funds out of the account. Other providers have an automatic withdrawal feature. The tipping and fees is a little more hidden and confusing for donors. There is sometimes too much functionality that it is unclear what it is for. What do you like best about Givebutter?

There's so much flexibility in how you use the platform, from a standalone giving web page to an event platform where you can sell tickets/sponsorships. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Givebutter?

Dislike is probably too strong a word, but the platform requires you to enable the ability to ask donors to "tip" Givebutter. This, however, does make the platform free to us to use. So there's some give and take. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Givebutter?

What I really appreciate about Givebutter is that it works as a streamlined, all-in-one platform for most nonprofits. Before signing up for Plus, I relied on several different tools—Mailchimp for email marketing, Eventbrite for ticket sales, and a bunch of spreadsheets to track donor and fundraising data. Givebutter has made my job easier by serving as a central hub for most of what I was already using. I also appreciate how fast and responsive the team is, especially after joining. What do you dislike about Givebutter?

There are some limits on customization, especially around user permissions. I wish there were a way to tailor a user’s role so they only have access to certain features, since every situation is different. I also wish there were more options for customizing emails and texts, including additional templates to choose from. Another improvement would be the ability to send text messages back and forth through the Engage tab; that would be helpful when I need to contact a donor without having to use a cellular device. What problems is Givebutter solving and how is that benefiting you?

Givebutter is helping me solve the problem of having to use multiple platforms like Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and spreadsheets. I’m a big believer that less is more, and from a convenience standpoint, it’s really nice to be able to handle most of my day-to-day tasks in one place. Givebutter is also helping us by providing a centralized platform to collect donations across all kinds of fundraising campaigns. What do you like best about Givebutter?

As someone who has fundraised professionally and used many donor platforms, Givebutter is easily the best. It’s easy to use, it’s intuitive, it allows me to do everything I need, and it’s free tier allows my small nonprofit to keep the funds we raise and put it toward the work we do rather than to overhead. I haven’t found much, to be honest. I’d love to be able to customize the event pages a little more, but I am using the free version of Givebutter and certainly do not expect that kind of functionality for free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were previously paying much more for another product to run our registration and auction for events. Knowing that GiveButter had little to no costs, we decided to switch. This was great for our bottom line as most, if not all, donors chose to cover the fees and we got to take home the entire amount for donations, tickets, and auction items. "GiveButter Makes Peer-to-Peer Fundraising Easy and Data-Secure"

What do you like best about Givebutter?

We used the platform for a peer-to-peer campaign. It was super easy for our volunteers to set up their pages. This is what make GiveButter fantastic - easy enough for non-tech people to use but sophisticated enough to securely capture all the data we need for donors, donations, and reporting. What do you dislike about Givebutter?

The check-out process for donors can be a bit tricky. If they prefer not to leave a tip they need to unclick the box. However, the GiveButter support staff has been spectacular anytime I called asking for help in refunding the tip. Great service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Donor Management with Intuitive Reporting"

What do you like best about Givebutter?

I like how Givebutter organizes our donations, enabling us to thank our donors easily. Their email platform is useful for sending quarterly updates to our donors. I also appreciate the reporting features, as I can keep up with exactly how much we've raised each month, and it's quick to view daily. They do an excellent job of making it easy to transfer funds into our account. The initial setup was easy, and I've found that they meet all our needs essentially for free. "All-in-One Donor Relations and CRM Tools in Givebutter"

What do you like best about Givebutter?

What do you like best about Givebutter?

I really like that Givebutter consolidates everything we need into one place. Using it as a CRM, a donation tracker, and an email platform is incredibly convenient. We moved away from using separate tools like Mailchimp and spreadsheets, which makes our processes more streamlined. Having our CRM connected to our email platform and donation tracking saves us a lot of time and keeps everything organized, particularly for managing financial transactions our donors make. What do you dislike about Givebutter?

The email editor can be hard to use and not intuitive, which is a bit of a pain. Also, there are certain features they haven't built yet that we're waiting for, like better tracking on emails and a sense of how we're performing with our sent emails. I would love features that proactively suggest improvements using AI. Another issue is that the data maintenance can be clunky, which makes it harder for us to handle better. I love Givebutter's easy interface. Setting up tracking for funds, managing payouts, and sending thank you notes to donors is super easy—everything just works smoothly.
