This works very well, but it has become extremely slow in the latest Word versions and unacceptable for our customers. With GemBox.Document, we were able to replicate these functions very well, and the execution speed is 50 times faster than Word via COM. The basic concept is quite different, but with the help of the very fast and competent support, all questions were clarified in a short time. **What do you dislike about GemBox .Net Components?** Actually, I can't find anything negative; there were a few small errors from time to time, but these were fixed by support in the shortest time. **What problems is GemBox .Net Components solving and how is that benefiting you?** Above all, as a (much faster) replacement for controlling MS Word via COM. A positive side effect is that this also works with free Word alternatives like LibreOffice. ### 2. It helps us convert PDF documents to XPS and then visualize them. The latest updates have made this process much more efficient - it is now faster and uses less memory. The main goal is to allow users to digitally sign documents. The GemBox API meets all our requirements and is easy to use. The technical support is amazing, all our demands and issues have always been resolved quickly. **What do you dislike about GemBox .Net Components?** We don't have any dislikes at the moment. **What problems is GemBox .Net Components solving and how is that benefiting you?** In our project, we needed to allow users to digitally sign documents. GemBox.Pdf easily allowed us to meet all our requirements. ### 3. Any bugs are fixed within two to three days, and a hotfix version is offered. Regular updates are released monthly. I didn't have much to go on except our business name and our product key. I sent them an email asking for some help and general direction. I spoke with Mario, and he went above and beyond in my opinion. I am a novice programmer and was able to re-write a Visual Basic app replacing Word.Interop with the Gembox.Document in a few sleepless nights. Gembox is by far much faster than word interop! I would highly recommend checking out Gembox for your document creation needs! **What do you dislike about GemBox .Net Components?** I dont have any dislikes at this moment. The API is simple to understand; the documentation is excellent, and easy to find what you need. I implemented everything I needed, including Enabling LTV , in just a few days. It took much longer working with PdfTron technical support to make their API work and properly digitally sign a document. The GemBox technical support is very knowledgeable and responsive. It was an outstanding experience. We choose GemBox! **What do you dislike about GemBox .Net Components?** honestly, I did not find anything I disliked. **What problems is GemBox .Net Components solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our Product - Vinesing - is an eSignature MVC App. When customers send documents for signing, and the recipient signs them, we need a way to digitally sign and lock documents to prevent future changes. We now have this functionality by using GemBox to digitally sign PDF documents and Azure KeyVault to communicate to the HSM device. ### 9.
