&lt;p&gt;ServiceNow SPM seems like the cleanest way to avoid double-maintenance because it uses the same CMDB rather than syncing a separate repository. A standalone EA tool like Bizzdesign can still be worth it when architects need richer modeling, but only if the two-way integration is reliable enough to prevent manual reconciliation.&lt;/p&gt;
