I manage finances for three QuickBooks companies (a nonprofit, its sister company, and a church client), and nearly all of my reporting happens in Google Sheets. G-Accon pulls live QuickBooks data straight into the sheets I have already built, so I am no longer exporting, cleaning up, and pasting reports. My favorite part is the scheduled refresh. My cash flow planner updates itself throughout the day, so the numbers are current when I open it. I also built a consolidated AP aging view across entities, which used to be a manual job. I prepare board and stakeholder reports for several clients, and I want each one to carry that client's own logo and branding. From what I can tell so far, the branding has to be applied manually for each client, because the app's branding settings can't be set per client. It can also be hard to tell up front if what I'm building is already available as a report or if I should start with a query instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's very easy to use and pull reports. We also use the get accounting data frequently to edit data on a mass upload. The thing that is also extremely helpful is being able to bulk JE upload which saves us a lot of time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

G-Accon lets me easily sync and update member information from my Google Sheets to my QBO, so I don’t have to manually update details for nearly 2,000 members. It makes sending payment links/invoices to my customers a breeze and shorten the time it takes me to onboard new members. It is well worth the minimal cost to retain it. When I need to run a full sync for all of our members from our spreadsheet, it takes a while because the system times out if I try to process more than 100 entries at once. It would be much better if I could do closer to 500 at a time instead. Also, the UI isn’t very intuitive; when I was first trying to figure out how to do things, I had to search for help to get started. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use G-Accon primarily to pull data and reports from QBO, and I love how it automates this process. It allows me to provide real-time updates to my clients, giving them access to up-to-date information they wouldn't otherwise see unless I was logged into QBO and sent reports. What I like most is that G-Accon pulls the data I need without being too complicated. I find it particularly useful for running reports and extracting data for vendors, classes, and categories. Also, the initial setup was easy enough, and I noticed a marked improvement in available information once I started using AI instead of relying solely on Google searches to inform me how G-Accon works. I find it challenging to push changes back to QBO using G-Accon. I haven't quite figured it out and end up using other apps to do so. I want to amend fields that aren't related to the financials, like memo/description, but there's no easy way to do this, or I can't see how. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about G-Accon is how easily it brings QuickBooks data into Google Sheets. I can refresh our custom P&L reports with a click instead of exporting and pasting data each time. It allows me to project and analyze client QBO data - Profit and Loss, cash flow, balance sheet - in Google Sheets with much greater efficiency across all clients. I like G-Accon's deep links back to QuickBooks, which really help us to review our financial statements faster by letting us see details behind rolled-up GL accounts. I also enjoy the convenience of refreshing data from entities with just one click. It's handy for pulling my profit and loss by month over a multiyear span to analyze performance, and it also simplifies our AR collections reporting and AP aging reviews. The main thing that could be improved is the refresh speed. Pulling updated data from QuickBooks into Sheets can take a minute or two. It's still significantly faster than our old process, but it's not instant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It does what it says it does -> it allows you to extract data from your accounting system into Google Sheets and updates according to the schedule you set, enabling you to have numerous live reports and dashboards.
