Creating templates that automate reporting to individual p&l owners has also saved me a significant amount of time. **What do you dislike about G-Accon?** Uploading data from G-Accon to Quickbooks has been difficult to accomplish. The interface is not intuitive. Updating the same template for various Quickbooks classes is a manual process that slows down my reporting to different stakeholders. Creating a method to update the same field across multiple templates would be a great improvement. **What problems is G-Accon solving and how is that benefiting you?** All previous reporting came directly from Quickbooks online. QBO is limited in the ability to add columns and calculations. Adding calculations and data points required exporting a static report from QBO to excel and modifying individual files. G-Accon's Google connector has simplified this process and saved me a significant amount of time when reporting to shareholders. I also find consolidating data across multiple entities to be a much simpler process with G-Accon. I tried other platforms that required a significant amount of maintenance to get the required results. ### 2. The level of detail available is amazing, almost anything in Xero can be pulled into a spreadsheet. **What do you dislike about G-Accon?** If I had one criticism, it would be that the documentation needs a little bit more detail as it can sometimes take a bit of experimentation to find the best way to pull the data fields I am looking for. **What problems is G-Accon solving and how is that benefiting you?** With automated reports, we can keep on top of overdue invoices, and also manage invoice approvals proactively in a way that was never possible purely with Xero. We use Xero as our accounting system, but have multiple ledgers and the standard reporting didn't meet our needs. We had built reports in excel that required a TB export each month and was fairly manual. This process was cumbersome and could take hours if not days to finalise reports, particularly as some of our key month end data comes in towards the end of the cut off date for reporting. With G-accon + Xero + Google sheets, our reports can be re-run if needed and will be updated within seconds. This gives our lean finance team, precious hours bck in the day to focus on supporting the management team. I also love the native links, these are particulary helpful for us when we run reports for the sales team to track their receivable book. **What do you dislike about G-Accon?** I've found the g-accon menu not overly intuitive and sometimes find myself having to click on options, exit then revisit the, particulary when building new reports. **What problems is G-Accon solving and how is that benefiting you?** effeciency in the finance team ### 20. Learning curve for how to use the tool is not that high either, so it was quite quick to set up. **What do you dislike about G-Accon?** Not very much, no major complaints. Just a nit, but I think this more of an issue with Google Sheets: I wish that the G-Accon sidebar can stay open even after pinning so it's easier to access. **What problems is G-Accon solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has removed almost all the manual work in updating historical data to make models much easier to update. The simple click to refresh all templates is particularly useful. The monthly close documentation I prepare used to take hours because of all the imports manually done from Xero and making sure that I've copied and pasted them correctly, but with G-Accon updating the historical data has been hands off. Further, with the table formatting from G-Accon tabs, I do not have to worry about copying and pasting the wrong thing. It has reduced the amount of hours in preparing the data from almost 10 to virtually none; the only work for the monthy close I do now is essentially in analyzing the data and finding insights, which G-Accon is not equipped to do (nor do I expect it to). ### 21. They have helped me implement some new reporting and get things set up. **What do you dislike about G-Accon?** There isn't anything I dislike about it. So far works great for our needs. **What problems is G-Accon solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has made tracking past due invoices so easy. I have reports set that pull any invoices that are 5 days past due. This helps me quickly know which members are past due and I can easily grab their email addresses and disable their access to our ecosystem services until their invoices are paid, per our policy. Before, I would have to manually check Xero and then grab each email address separately. It was so time consuming. ### 22. It saves so much time and reduces inaccuracies when compared to doing it manually. It is really easy to use and stays connected to Xero for a long time so you are not costantly re-logging in. Customer support is really good as well.
