"Effortless Donations with Seamless Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

I like how easily Fundraise Up connects directly to our account, so there's no data entry. I also like that we can create custom campaigns and fundraisers for specific needs very easily and quickly. The seamless integration with our website and CRM saves a lot of time for our small administrative team. Also, the initial setup was quick and easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

When setting up various elements for fundraisers (ie Goal Meter vs Donate Button), it would be helpful to be able to that in one action rather than having to input the same information multiple times for each one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marissa Jansen of Fundraise Up

Thank you, Jennifer! Saving time for small teams is something we care deeply about, and we're glad the CRM integration and quick setup have made a real difference for your team.

We appreciate this feedback on the element setup flow. We'll make sure this gets back to the right people!

"Reliable and Easy to Navigate, with Fast, Auditor-Ready Support"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

Day-to-day, it's reliable, and the platform is easy to navigate. When we have questions, support is quick to respond.

That held up when it mattered most. We needed SOC reporting covering a June 30 fiscal year-end. I emailed support and had a substantive reply within the hour and the complete package the next morning, under 24 hours start to finish.

They also anticipated what an auditor would ask. The bridge letter covered exactly the gap between the end of their SOC 2 period and well past our year-end, so there was no hole to explain. When one report didn't exist this cycle, the engineer explained why it wasn't needed instead of just saying no, and put their SOC 1 position in writing so we could file it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

No major complaints. Every document in the Trust Center sits behind a request form, so on a deadline, it's faster to just email support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No Startup Cost, Easy UI, and Effective AI Donation Predictions"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

There’s no startup cost, which makes it a good fit for NGOs with lower budgets. The UI/UX is easy to use. Their AI that predicts donation amounts is very effective, and the pre-donation and post-donation upsell features work well too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

This isn’t an issue with Fundraise Up itself, but because of Stripe’s cross-border limitations, we aren’t able to deduct the platform fees during the transaction. Also, their peer-to-peer fundraising feature could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

Fundraise Up has many features that nonprofits are looking for in a fundraising solution. Their support team is fantastic as well. They are also free to use with no contract binding their services to your organization if you do ever choose to leave. The amount of actionable data on the dashboard that Fundraise Up offers shows us where our donation platforms are performing and where we can make improvements. It's a reliable tool all the way through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Seamless Donations, and Responsive Support with Fundraise Up"
5/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

Fundraise Up provides an easy to use and easy to setup platform for donation management. Everything from taking the donation to receipting is included in the platform. There are a variety of methods available in the platform for taking payments (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, etc), which makes life easier for our donors. I had some issues when setting up our sub-accounts for multiple entities (they had prioritized the wrong org as our primary account, which messed things up), but the support team was quick to take care of things and help us get it all squared away before going live. Getting connected to payment platforms and our CRM was straightforward and seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

The element options for adding to your website have limited customization. I would love a donate button that didn't have the little heart emoji and flashing background, but that option simply isn't available.

We've found that in certain countries where the value of the local currency is extremely low vs. USD the maximum you can donate in the local currency equates to under $20 USD - we understand this is due to character limits in the payment processing, but it would be nice if there was a way to have those countries default to USD instead (without making ALL countries default to USD). "Easy Setup, Strong Integrations, and Great Multi-Country Compliance Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

I find the platform easy to use and straightforward to set up. It also provides solutions to all of our questions, which is especially helpful for an organization like ours that needs to comply with laws in multiple countries while accepting donations globally. I think the integrations are easy to set up on our website and it performs really well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

Our only current issue with FRU is that there isn’t an easy way to handle Gift Aid declarations when taking certain donations from the UK. Our customer success manager has helped us come up with a workaround, but I still wish they would integrate the necessary compliance mechanisms directly into their donation process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marissa Jansen of Fundraise Up

Thank you for this! Supporting organizations that operate globally is something we're really proud of, and we're glad the platform has made managing multiple income streams and donor acknowledgements so much easier for your team.

Thank you for your feedback on Gift Aid. We recently released functionality that should remedy the issue mentioned. Please read more about that in the link shared below.

"Streamlined Fundraising with Excellent Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

I use Fundraise Up for managing our online fundraising campaigns and it helps streamline the donation process while improving donor engagement. It's great for keeping track of donations and creating different campaigns for various events, making it easy for fundraising done by companies or on specific days. The integration with HubSpot is excellent, and switching from Network for Good was easy because of this integration. The initial setup was very easy and quick, and it was easy for others to learn how to use it. Also, the support team has been great when we run into any bugs or issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

Some of the AI features do not fit for how we want to run our organization but it is nice to have the option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marissa Jansen of Fundraise Up

Thank you for the kind words! We're so glad Fundraise Up has helped streamline your fundraising and made donor engagement easier to manage. It's also great to hear the HubSpot integration made your switch from Network for Good a smooth one, and that your team was up and running quickly.

On the AI features, we appreciate that feedback. We know every organization runs differently, and we're always working to make those tools more flexible. Great to have you with us!

"Best-in-Class User Experience That Makes Our Campaigns Look Polished"
4/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

Fundraise up is the best of the best when it comes to user experience. The elements, campaign pages, easy upsells, etc. make us look polished and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

The pricing structure is a pain point, unfortunately. We're glad that donors have the option to cover fees (it's a blessing to us). That said, we hear from others who are frustrated that the fees aren't comparable to other point of sale/credit card processors, which is their general expectation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marissa Jansen of Fundraise Up

We hear you on pricing. Our performance-based pricing model and no contracts is a bit of an adjustment for some organizations. But thank you for trusting Fundraise Up with your donor experience! It makes us happy to see that it's had an impact on your recurring donations!

"Streamlines Donations with Proactive Support"
4/5
What do you like best about Fundraise Up?

I find Fundraise Up to be very straightforward, making it easy for donors to donate with a variety of elements to choose from. Managing data is simple, and our accounting team appreciates how easy it is to manage transactions. I also like that they support many different payment methods. The support team is proactive, which makes working with Fundraise Up a good experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fundraise Up?

The only drawback is that they don't support offline donations. We had to build an application to manage it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Marissa Jansen of Fundraise Up

Hi Albert! We're glad to see you've found success with Fundraise Up. And thank you for the kind words about support - we have a great team! I would like to address your comment about offline giving. I think you are going to like what our team is working on. We are currently developing capabilities for accepting donations at in-person events.  Stay tuned!
