Frontend Masters Pricing Overview

Frontend Masters teaches you how the web works, not just how to brute force or get something you built to work. There is a lot of ambiguous material online about web development, but so little of it feels really curated to teach people how to reason and troubleshoot with the tools of the trade. Even less of what is out there really tries to establish best practices in the context of the industry status quo. Frontend masters courses carry the weight that advice from senior ior staff dev mentors would, if you are so lucky to have those. At the same time, the knowledge imparted in FEM courses feels really solid. It's far less subjective than code review tends to be, for example. It's such a good value.

The courses are extremely well organized into tracks, and the watch history tracking is just gamey enough to entice you to keep watching. I'm completely charmed by the green checks and I want to collect them on all the material in the catalog!

There could always be more exercises, especially project-based exercises. Likewise, if there were a way to, even on periodic or limited basis, get access to code review or office hours from instructors that would be amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I really like about Frontend Masters is that they definitely stand out as a learning platform for developers offering unique experiences from seasoned and oftentimes well-known professionals with a notable track record of contributions to the growth of webdev community and the industry in general.

Unlike tremendous amount of courses out there with questionable pricing and repetitive beginner-aimed content that can be accessed freely all over the internet, Frontend Masters is a breath of a fresh air giving you access to the information that is mainly dispersed over tons of articles and tech books that one has to take a considerable deal of effort to find.

What is more, for a long time the platform has been expanding its library way beyond just Frontend courses, adding more content covering such topics as Backend, DevOps, Computer Science, Programming Languages, Design and Interview Preparation for which it is arguably harder to find decent learning resources. Hopefully this will continue as I believe these areas have lots of uncovered issues that many usually do not have a chance to work on or get close insight to in the course of their careers.

All in all, Frontend Masters is a great place to deepen your existing expertise and to gain additional exposure to the topics beyond experience at your current job! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With all good things in mind, Frontend Masters will not suit everyone:

- If your top priorities when choosing a course include obtaining completion certificate - this platform does not provide that opportunity as far as I know.

- If you are looking for a full-fledged comprehensive courses/learning tracks that will guide you from A to Z along with practical tasks and review sessions - then you might probably look somewhere else.

- If you are looking for "pay once - enjoy forever" option - the access by subscription Frontend Masters offers may turn you away, however nothing stops you from taking notes, let alone the fact that with subscription you have full access to the entire FM library thus having chance to find what suits you best yet paying less.
