What I like most about Forus is the visibility, organization, and support it provides across the entire patient access process. Having prior authorizations, enrollment, and patient assistance support all in one place makes managing specialty medications much more efficient.
I can quickly see where each patient is in the process, review status updates, identify any outstanding items, and communicate with the team when additional action is needed. Clear visibility into enrollment, insurance approvals, denials, appeals, and patient assistance programs also helps prevent cases from falling through the cracks.
Forus is especially valuable when we’re managing a high volume of specialty medication cases. It reduces the administrative burden on clinical teams, strengthens communication and organization, and ultimately helps us stay focused on getting patients access to the medications they need. One area for improvement is additional training for clinical staff on best practices for utilizing Forus. The platform has many helpful features, but staff may not always understand how to use them effectively or how their actions impact the overall patient access process. More structured training on enrollment, prescription submission, portal navigation, task management, prior authorization workflows, and patient assistance would help practices get the most value from the platform and create more consistent workflows across clinical teams.
