**What do you like best about FoodTec Solutions?**

I’ve been a FoodTec customer for about 18 years. I personally love that the majority of my tech stack is all FoodTec—it means I can make one phone call and get answers to almost anything or have an issue resolved quickly. Their team is very well trained, and if the first person can’t fix an issue, they get someone who can.

Any product is only as good as the support behind it, and FoodTec excels there. They do a great job of keeping up with—if not staying ahead of—technology trends. Simply put, the product works, and it works at a very high level. While many systems claim they can do everything, FoodTec is a highly functional POS that actually delivers on what it promises.

**What do you dislike about FoodTec Solutions?**

Being as busy as I am, it can be challenging to keep up with all the new features and ensure I’m fully utilizing the latest capabilities. Most updates are automatically integrated, but at times I’m not completely aware of everything the system can currently do.

**What problems is FoodTec Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When FoodTec is programmed properly—which is easy to do—it makes training new employees simple, streamlines order taking, and ultimately helps keep customers happy.

Our online ordering is excellent and accounts for roughly 10–20% of our business. FoodTec now directly integrates with the “big three” third-party delivery platforms—DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Grubhub—which makes operations significantly easier.

The gift cards, loyalty programs, email marketing, and fully integrated camera systems really round out what I would call an amazing, fully integrated system.

**What do you like best about FoodTec Solutions?**

I like that Foodtec works around the clock, 24/7—someone is always there to answer your call if you need help. I also appreciate that they’re constantly making improvements to their systems, listening to the needs and wants of their customers, and then actually making those changes happen. Over time, the IT department starts to feel like family, and you all get to know each other—especially if you’re a busy store that’s always trying to keep up with the Joneses.

**What do you dislike about FoodTec Solutions?**

There aren’t many things I dislike about the company. If I had to point to one area that could be improved slightly, it would be response time. They’re very good at getting back to me, but as restaurant owners we work seven days a week and often into the wee hours of the night. If there were a way to speed up or streamline responses, that would be a huge plus.

**What problems is FoodTec Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They bring everything into one place. With third-party integrations, you can ditch tablets and printers and keep all your reporting in one set of books. They also help drivers find locations quickly and support customer interaction, which streamlines deliveries. On top of that, they make scheduling easier and help with controlling labor and inventory. Menu changes and price updates are simple, too. There’s honestly too much to say.

**What do you like best about FoodTec Solutions?**

I like that FoodTec Solutions is an all-in-one system that integrates features like kiosk, online ordering, marketing, and rewards, which not all point of sale systems handle. It's particularly useful for pizzerias with specific requirements. The integration of these features makes it easier for me to engage with customers through marketing and simplifies setup and management, allowing me to take care of everything in one place. The initial setup was fairly easy compared to other times, thanks to the dedicated support provided during the transition. This comprehensive integration really helps streamline operations.

**What do you dislike about FoodTec Solutions?**

Their online manager system for business managers is maybe a little bit confusing. Instead of having everything be on all in one place, there's about three different dashboards or websites that I need to sign into in order to have access to everything.

FoodTec Solutions is an all-in-one point of sale system that integrates kiosks, marketing, and rewards, making it particularly useful for pizzerias with specific needs. It simplifies customer engagement and management by centralizing everything in one place.

**What do you like best about FoodTec Solutions?**

We love that FoodTec offers an all-in-one solution by providing all of the modules you could need within their own software (POS, inventory, online ordering, loyalty, mobile app, scheduling, time and attendance, gift cards, etc.) Their software developers are the best I've ever seen in the POS space, and they are very open and responsive to new feature requests. Their data and reporting tools are also extremely powerful and offer the ability to create customized reports for just about any need that we've encountered. They also offer some API options for pulling data into our own customized tools, and the ability for our customers to seamlessly log in to and access their account information directly on our own website, as well as input their necessary information before being passed along to their online ordering system. Their delivery app, which allows both customers and our store managers to track deliveries and driver locations in real time, is extremely helpful. We have been FoodTec customers for over 10 years, and still find them to be the best option there is.

**What do you dislike about FoodTec Solutions?**

There really isn't anything I dislike about FoodTec, but more easily and readily available documentation, especially regarding new features, would be helpful.

**What problems is FoodTec Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Their constant improvements and feature additions would be the largest benefit. If we need something changed or added, they are always open to hearing our needs and working through them with us. The POS systems we've used in the past did updates quarterly, and our requests were often not included. FoodTec releases new versions monthly, and sometimes multiple times a month.

FoodTec has been an excellent POS partner for our busy pizzeria. Their system is reliable, intuitive, and built for the fast pace of a high‑volume restaurant. The tools they provide—order management, delivery coordination, reporting, and menu control—make our daily operations smoother and more organized. Their support team is responsive and knowledgeable, and we’ve consistently been happy with both the service and the technology.

I’d like to see better remote capabilities for making menu changes.

FoodTec has helped us run Central Pizza efficiently, and we highly recommend them to any pizzeria looking for a strong, dependable POS solution.

The most helpful part about Foodtec is that it is open coded software.  The program has very limited capabilities because you are purchasing the platform. The features are endless, and the abilities are endless.

**What do you dislike about FoodTec Solutions?**

The least helpful part is the communication aspect.  There is not really a very large communication pipeline that lets their customers know what changes are happening and when they are coming.  There are not any press release statements that inform us of upcoming features.

**What problems is FoodTec Solutions solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Foodtec is an all in one restaurant management POS that helps us track employees hours, customers orders, inventory, transfers, and credit card processing.

Completely integrated system with all the modules that I need. POS, Online Ordering, Mobile App, Inventory, Purchasing, Time Tracking, Scheduling, etc.

The system could use better documentation. The system does everything, but to get it to do everything sometimes takes a bit of digging.
