
I like that Foodtec works around the clock, 24/7—someone is always there to answer your call if you need help. I also appreciate that they’re constantly making improvements to their systems, listening to the needs and wants of their customers, and then actually making those changes happen. Over time, the IT department starts to feel like family, and you all get to know each other—especially if you’re a busy store that’s always trying to keep up with the Joneses. There aren’t many things I dislike about the company. If I had to point to one area that could be improved slightly, it would be response time. They’re very good at getting back to me, but as restaurant owners we work seven days a week and often into the wee hours of the night.
