Lifetime access withdrawn, refund refused, subscription credit offered instead **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Vilmos H. | Head of Technical Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account **Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate. **Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2026 **What do you like best about Folder Fort Cloud Storage?** The original appeal was the lifetime storage package: one upfront payment without recurring subscription fees. The owner (Dave) also replied personally and politely when I raised my concerns. However, with lifetime access now being withdrawn, the main reason I chose Folder Fort no longer applies. **What do you dislike about Folder Fort Cloud Storage?** I paid for lifetime access, but Folder Fort is now closing the original service after initially saying it would continue. When I asked for a fair partial refund, the owner (Dave) refused, citing a 60-day refund window, and offered subscription credit instead. I'm not asking because I changed my mind -they're withdrawing what I bought. Credit towards a service I no longer trust is not a satisfactory solution. **What problems is Folder Fort Cloud Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?** I bought it for long-term cloud storage without ongoing subscription costs. With lifetime access now being withdrawn, it hasn't delivered the benefit I paid for. ### 2. Affordable and amazing cloud storage!!! **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Gaurav K. | Chief Information Security Officer, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user. **Validated Reviewer:** This review contains authentic analysis and has been reviewed by our team **Source: Organic:** Organic review. I would say it is affordable and amazing cloud storage with a user-friendly web interface. The support person (called as Dave) was extremely responsive and helpful in addressing my technical questions and helping me out in every possible way. Upload speeds are satisfactory, and the overall experience has been smooth except for once when the server was not accessible. It's a new organization with a product that is still maturing, but I highly recommend giving it a try. Also, keenly waiting for the future updates such as FolderFort Sync App and Retry of Failed Upload! **What do you dislike about Folder Fort Cloud Storage?** Delay in the official Sync App otherwise it is amazing. **What problems is Folder Fort Cloud Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?** Data Storage at a cheaper cost without any recurring monthly cost. ### 3. I've been very pleased, and have consolidated several smaller usage drives onto Folder Fort quite easily. **What do you dislike about Folder Fort Cloud Storage?** Haven't found anything to complain about ....yet....lol **What problems is Folder Fort Cloud Storage solving and how is that benefiting you?** Consolidating from several other online and offline resources ### 4.
