Flowplan Reviews & Product Details

Flowplan is an integrated hardware and software solution designed to monitor and manage the consumption of various commercial machines, including coffee machines, dishwashers, ice machines, autoclaves, and beer taps. By providing real-time data on machine usage, Flowplan enables businesses to optimize maintenance schedules, prevent unexpected breakdowns, and enhance operational efficiency. The system comprises two primary components: the Flowplan Flowmeter and the Beam transmitter. The Flowmeter is an inline device that accurately measures the flow of liquids through machines. Constructed with a titanium shaft and stainless steel fittings, it is food-approved and features a transparent top for easy visual inspection. Available in two sizes—3/8" for flow rates between 0.1 to 5 liters per minute, and 3/4" for 0.5 to 15 liters per minute—the Flowmeter caters to a wide range of equipment requirements. The Beam transmitter connects to the Flowmeter via an industrial M8 screw connector. It operates independently of existing Wi-Fi networks and power sources, running on its own network with a built-in battery that lasts up to five years. This design ensures seamless data transmission without the need for complex installations or reliance on external power supplies. Once installed, Flowplan collects and transmits data on machine usage, which is accessible through the Flowplan Backoffice web application and the Fieldoffice mobile app. These platforms provide comprehensive dashboards displaying live consumption data, maintenance schedules, and alerts for potential issues. For instance, users can monitor the number of coffee cups served, track water quality, and receive notifications for upcoming filter changes or service requirements. By leveraging real-time data, Flowplan allows businesses to transition from calendar-based maintenance to usage-based service planning. This proactive approach helps in identifying and addressing issues before they escalate into costly breakdowns, thereby improving equipment uptime and extending the lifespan of machines. Additionally, the system's automated tracking and reporting capabilities reduce the administrative burden associated with manual monitoring and scheduling. Flowplan's versatility makes it suitable for various industries, including bars, cafés, restaurants, and commercial kitchens. Its plug-and-play installation process, compatibility with any machine brand, and the elimination of the need for Wi-Fi or external power make it a practical solution for businesses seeking to enhance their equipment management practices. In summary, Flowplan offers a comprehensive and user-friendly solution for monitoring and managing the consumption of commercial machines. By providing real-time insights and automating maintenance planning, it empowers businesses to optimize operations, prevent unexpected equipment failures, and deliver consistent service quality to their customers.
