I love FloQast’s interface. It’s super intuitive, easy to use, and very modern. They keep enhancing it and adding features we ask for, and they’ve taken a lot of our feedback into account when developing new releases and functionality. I also appreciate that their support staff are CPAs and understand the day-to-day accounting problems and the pressure to get things done faster and use AI. FloQast makes our month-end close more automated, cuts down the time, and improves accuracy, efficiency, and communication across the team. AI matching helps us reconcile banks and post cash faster, and AI explanations speed up our month-end and quarter-end flux and variance analysis. I also like using AI agents to build and automate processes. FloQast integrates seamlessly with NetSuite and updates our ERP in real time, and the tool is fast. The implementation was the fastest and easiest software implementation we’ve ever done. They guided us through it, and we implemented all the modules within six months with a very small team. It was easy and quick, with no surprises, and it functioned as they told us it would. Initial setup was very easy too: we gave them our current checklist, answered a couple of questions, and had the month-end close checklist up and running within a few weeks. I’d like more AI features in the variance and flux explanations, including quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year comparisons, not just month over month. I’d also like AI matching for banking journal entries to handle intercompany advanced journal entries for complicated intercompany cash and bank transfers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that FloQast automates matching between NetSuite and bank accounts and makes reconciliations easy. The Journal Entry feature automatically creates journals and sends them for approval after I review them. For repetitive entries, I just set a rule instead of manually creating CSV files and uploading them to NetSuite. The initial setup wasn’t too much work, and I got lots of support from the team. I find that FloQast’s matching module doesn’t pull bank references for all my bank accounts from Cobase, so I have to manually upload CSV bank statements for some accounts. What I appreciate most about FloQast is how it simplifies reconciliation and task tracking, which helps save time and minimize mistakes. With FloQast Transform, we can create custom AI agents to automate processes such as reconciliations and journal entries without any coding required. The audit trails and unified month-end checklists are my top picks. Every reconciliation action and attached file carries a timestamp, fully compliant with German financial audit standards. The dashboard displays live task progress, shared lists let our finance team comment directly on work items, cutting down repetitive emails and missed deadlines drastically. Report customization options are too few, can’t adjust layouts to match local German audit forms. Bulk editing reconciliations runs sluggishly. It lacks native connection to our internal file server, so I manually upload all supporting documents monthly. I mainly use FloQast for checklists and reconciliations. I really like that it helps maintain accuracy on due dates and offers real-time sync with NetSuite. The user interface is something I particularly enjoy, especially because it's real-time. Overall, I don't see any areas that need improvement, it feels perfect for my needs. I've now purchased and implemented FloQast as three companies, the reviews from 2015/2020 still hold true with added benefits of the dedicated workflow management that I now leverage in my FP&A function, truly having a one-stop shop for a CFO organization ensuring all deadlines are met with ease while enabling controls/confidence in the numbers each month.
