I love that Flodesk is affordable for small bloggers and content creators. But, it doesn't skimp out on quality. There are so many beautiful templates you can use for your emails. Flodesk is also always trying to add new features to make reaching your audience and managing your list easier. The website itself is really fast and seamless and never slows me down when working. There are a lot of integrations too. I love that they can integrate with my ad network so I can make more money from my emails. Support has always been really helpful. There aren't really any negatives about Flodesk. I think the only thing I could say is I wish they had more templates or ways to create your own. But, I think they are already working on that! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Flodesk is super easy to use. It has beautiful templates which make it really easy to create beautiful emails, but it also has a very simple and straightforward UI. It connects with a bunch of other platforms (Canva, Bookfunnel, Wix/Squarespace) which makes life super easy. It's ridiculously great value for money when you look at what other ESPs are charging for less and they have something akin to a suggestions box where you can describe features you'd like to see. You can browse what other people have suggested and vote for those ideas too, and they keep the list updated with which features they’re planning to introduce. Where I think they really stand apart from other ESPs I've used in the past is their customer service. I don't so much dislike it, but I'd like to be able to resize my images within the email and have the text flow around. That said, they have great template blocks that do this with static images, just not with gifs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like their focus on simplicity in everything, like having templates and brand details that can be applied to every component automatically just by setting up my brand guidelines. The Simplicity sometimes limiting your options and the flexibility of every change you need to make in the layout and bringing other HTML elements from maybe other software and so on in both the email and pages becomes a limitation if you have such a level of advanced customization in mind. I LOVE how streamlined, intuitive, and simple Flodesk is to use. I use it most for sending out my weekly newsletters, and it has made this process so much more enjoyable. It's super easy to customize each newsletter. It's one of the easiest platforms I've used for offering a lead magnet on my website, and it integrates seamlessly with my Squarespace site. The link in bio feature for Instagram allows me to easily create a professional on-brand link in bio. It's also a really beautiful platform, which just adds to the joy of using it. And they're always adding really awesome new features. I use it every single week and I've never once had a problem with it. It is an amazing value for the cost, and their generous affiliate program is an added perk. The one time I had to use their customer support (to help me reconnect my Stripe account when I opened a new one), the response was timely, clear, and easy to follow. This is only a minor irritation, but it's the only thing I can think of. When I've downloaded an image and want to upload it into the email builder, I can't just drag and drop it -- I have to search for it in my downloads folder (or wherever I'm up loading from). My only complaint about Flodesk is the transition from the uncapped pricing model to the tiered model where subscription cost increases with subscribers. Despite that, I loved that Flodesk made everyone aware months prior to making the transition over to the updated pricing model.

The email builder feels really intuitive, so I’m not wasting ages trying to make things look good, they already do. The templates are gorgeous, the branding feels really polished, and it’s actually enjoyable to create emails rather than feeling like another boring admin task.

I also love how simple it is to set up workflows, segments and opt-in forms. It makes email marketing feel way less overwhelming, especially as someone who wants things to look beautiful but also just work properly.

Honestly, the main thing I dislike is that they moved away from the simple one-price plan.

That was such a big part of why I originally loved Flodesk. It felt really refreshing to know exactly what you were paying, without having to think about subscriber limits or pricing tiers as your list grew.

The automation interface doesn't feel like you need a PhD in marketing ops to navigate it. Multi-trigger workflows, split paths, rejoin logic—all of it is visual enough that I could visualize exactly what my audience was going to experience. I didn't need to hire someone to set this up. I didn't need a manual. I just needed to think it through, and Flodesk let me build it. It's not a multi-channel suite—no SMS, no WhatsApp. If you need cross-channel marketing in one platform, this isn't it. But honestly, if you're focused on email and selling something (digital products, courses, memberships, services), that's not really a gap. It's just not what Flodesk is built for.
