Flodesk is super easy to use. It has beautiful templates which make it really easy to create beautiful emails, but it also has a very simple and straightforward UI. It connects with a bunch of other platforms (Canva, Bookfunnel, Wix/Squarespace) which makes life super easy. It's ridiculously great value for money when you look at what other ESPs are charging for less and they have something akin to a suggestions box where you can describe features you'd like to see. You can browse what other people have suggested and vote for those ideas too, and they keep the list updated with which features they’re planning to introduce. Where I think they really stand apart from other ESPs I've used in the past is their customer service. The Simplicity sometimes limiting your options and the flexibility of every change you need to make in the layout and bringing other HTML elements from maybe other software and so on in both the email and pages becomes a limitation if you have such a level of advanced customization in mind. I LOVE how streamlined, intuitive, and simple Flodesk is to use. I use it most for sending out my weekly newsletters, and it has made this process so much more enjoyable. It's super easy to customize each newsletter. It's one of the easiest platforms I've used for offering a lead magnet on my website, and it integrates seamlessly with my Squarespace site. The link in bio feature for Instagram allows me to easily create a professional on-brand link in bio. It's also a really beautiful platform, which just adds to the joy of using it. And they're always adding really awesome new features. I use it every single week and I've never once had a problem with it. It is an amazing value for the cost, and their generous affiliate program is an added perk. The one time I had to use their customer support (to help me reconnect my Stripe account when I opened a new one), the response was timely, clear, and easy to follow. This is only a minor irritation, but it's the only thing I can think of. When I've downloaded an image and want to upload it into the email builder, I can't just drag and drop it -- I have to search for it in my downloads folder (or wherever I'm up loading from). My only complaint about Flodesk is the transition from the uncapped pricing model to the tiered model where subscription cost increases with subscribers. Despite that, I loved that Flodesk made everyone aware months prior to making the transition over to the updated pricing model.

The email builder feels really intuitive, so I’m not wasting ages trying to make things look good, they already do. The templates are gorgeous, the branding feels really polished, and it’s actually enjoyable to create emails rather than feeling like another boring admin task.

Honestly, the main thing I dislike is that they moved away from the simple one-price plan.

The automation interface doesn't feel like you need a PhD in marketing ops to navigate it. Multi-trigger workflows, split paths, rejoin logic—all of it is visual enough that I could visualize exactly what my audience was going to experience. I didn't need to hire someone to set this up. I love how easy Flodesk makes it for me to design beautiful newsletters, even though I'm not very tech savvy. The organization of all my emails and the ability to decide who I want to email, when, and with what content is really helpful. The platform allows me to import pictures and upload files directly from my company, which is great because I often have new announcements and specials every month. I can also easily send people to my landing page with just the click of a button. The customer service is fantastic; they have refunded me for months I didn't use and allowed me to keep my templates when I came back. I would love to have a tutorial to help me do things better because I'm pretty basic with what I do. I often try to upload files and they don't work, like AVIF files, which are common for my company. I wish I could create more than just simple templates and look forward to tutorials to create different templates.
