"Excellent Scheduling and Project Planning, But Some Drawbacks"

What do you like best about Float.com?

What I appreciate most about Float is its scheduling and project planning features. I find it very straightforward to manage tasks among various employees and to set milestones, which makes organizing projects much easier. The implementation was super easy, in less than 3 days I was already using it with my team's tasks, and I have been using it every day, I can plan the schedule of the entire week and month, I can even add freelancers to the schedule. What do you dislike about Float.com?

I am not satisfied that the financial report displays a graph for only one project, rather than providing information for multiple projects with their respective budgets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Float.com solving and how is that benefiting you?

Float has helped resolve the scheduling issues I faced when I was unsure how much time my team spent on each task. Now, assigning tasks to any team member is much simpler. I appreciate being able to set budgets, define rates, and monitor financial margins directly within the platform. When a schedule breaks down, I can plan in advance how long things will take, review milestones, and each team member is able to update their own time entries. "Finally, the tool we'd been looking for"

What do you like best about Float.com?

The simplicity of the platform, it's so easy to drag, drop and view all of the company's assigned tasks as a very quick glance. The ability to be able to switch to project view (vs just people) is great too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

Early on when we started with the platform some of the usability was cumbersome & slow. However, it's changed a lot since, and is a very smooth platform now.

I think one of the things I'd like most is the ability to add notes alongside milestones so that we can put notes in about what that milestone includes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Intuitive UI and Fast Onboarding Make This a Standout Choice"

What do you like best about Float.com?

The user interface is clean and intuitive. The speed at which you can both get up and running and onboard new users is also great. Feels like the right features have been added in the right places. We use Float to manage the resource schedule for circa 50 innovation and design consultants. Historically we had used Excel spreadsheets but outgrew these and they always worked well until calculation formulas broke. The clean user interface and views within Float allow us to see, at a glance, a view of the different people and teams workloads. Also like how easy it is to manage and make updates to the schedules. Float helps us manage our projects and resources more efficiently by giving a clear overview of who’s doing what and when. It allows us to plan workloads, track progress across multiple jobs, and quickly identify any scheduling clashes or gaps in capacity.

This visibility has made it much easier to allocate teams, manage deadlines, and keep projects on track without overloading anyone. It’s also improved communication within the business — everyone can see what’s coming up and what needs priority — which has reduced confusion and last-minute changes.

I work for an agency and am a marketing director. We have 36 team members and most are designers, developers, or PMs. I am the only one in my role (I act as more of an in-house marketing consultant/one-person agency) and I am one of the few staff that will work across multiple projects at a time, versus other staff who will be assigned FT to one project for a few weeks. What do you like best about Float.com?

I love that I am able to allocate tasks using float and fill in my time sheet seamlessly. I also love that you can plan ahead and assess if there is too much pressure that is being exerted on a certain user and reallocate to other users with fewer tasks. I use it on a daily basis to create tasks and plan what i will be doing on a daily. I love the interface, it is user interactive and does not require a lot from a user like myself. What do you like best about Float.com?

Float makes it really simple to plan and track my workload. I also use it as a to-do tool. Every Monday I plan my week using the allocation feature, so I know exactly what I’ll be working on. What do you like best about Float.com?

My favorite thing about FLOAT is the easy of use. It is easy to move around projects, color code them, and get reports from the data that I am using. I use it on a daily basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Float.com?

There are small glitches that make it difficult to use something. For example, recently my FLOAT is causing me to reconnect & reload the page a lot. It is constantly having to reconnect. I also have it where when I refresh the data, my cursor turns to the delete mode automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
