## Five Jars Reviews
  ### 1. I'm satisfied with the MVP we've done with the Five Jars team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Five Jars?**

I'm satisfied with the MVP we've done with the Five Jars team. I am currently looking for an investor for this project. We had Skype calls several times, but most of the time I prefer text messages.

**What do you dislike about Five Jars?**

I think the team needs to expand the development staff because sometimes the implementation of a feature was delayed due to other projects.

**What problems is Five Jars solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My wife and I came up with this startup at a time when we got tired of searching the Internet every weekend for events where we could entertain our children. At that moment, we decided to make a website that would collect information about events in our city and facilitate the process of finding family entertainment. We decided to start with our community and, if successful, make separate versions of sites for other cities. The team developed a site for creating and searching for events. Parents and event organizers play the main roles here - this is a truly family-friendly application that is designed to attract both parents and their children. The application itself contains all the events for children in the selected city in the form of a calendar based on filters, such as the age of participants, topics, duration, and so on. In addition, there is an event blog where users can comment on events or even share them via Facebook. I love working with professionals when I don't have to dive into a whole area that I don't know. Working with the Five Jars was a real partnership where the other side fulfilled their obligations without my constant checks.

  ### 2. This is a real partnership when the development team becomes part of the business.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake M. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Five Jars?**

I can easily interact with the team, since we have no problems with the language barrier and the guys are always ready to listen to my requests. The team is not afraid to take on difficult tasks, since many years of experience are on their side.

**What do you dislike about Five Jars?**

I have nothing to say about this. This is a real partnership when the development team becomes part of the business.

**What problems is Five Jars solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For quite a long time we took orders by e-mail or personally from customers. It took a lot of time, as we either made layouts by hand or printed them according to the vague requirements of clients. All these difficulties have pushed us to take a step towards the digital transformation of our business.

  ### 3. It was a productive partnership

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan N. | Startup Investor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2022

**Describe the project or task Five Jars helped with:**

Five Jars developed an internal application for us from several modules: the Survey Template Builder allows us to quickly assemble any survey from existing templates, the survey distribution tools are integrated with our mail and allow us to send out bulk survey invitations, and the survey management module allows us to collect and organize response data and then presents them in the form of diagrams in PDF format. The team is currently working on the final integration with our existing internal portals: the Sales Learning Portal and the Skills Development Portal.

**What do you like best about Five Jars?**

I prefer a more formal style of communication, especially since I have to present the results of our collaboration with the Five Jars at the board meeting weekly, so I immediately warned the team that we would be conducting official correspondence via e-mail. My project manager on the Five Jars side had no problem with this. We also used several tools to track progress on the project. I appreciate their experience and rational approach to evaluating their work: they did not promise anything that they could not deliver. It was a productive partnership.

**What do you dislike about Five Jars?**

No improvement is needed. A solid top-notch company.

**What problems is Five Jars solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We develop an internal corporate culture and culture of learning in the sales department. For more productive interaction, we decided to create a platform for internal surveys. We abandoned the idea of using open tools on the market, as we would like to avoid any data leaks and control all processes inside the tool. We decided that it would be a good idea to hire developers to create an internal closed tool. To begin with, it will be used in the study of job satisfaction and internal monitoring of the psychological state of the department, but in the future, it is planned to use the platform for the entire company.

  ### 4. Five Jars is a professional team whose experience is impressive!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason H. | Senior Financial Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Five Jars?**

I was afraid my lack of technical background would make it hard for me to follow project progress but PM was brilliant. I knew what was happening every step of the way. We had regular weekly calls with the project manager on Zoom, and the main communication was via email or Slack.

**What do you dislike about Five Jars?**

Our partnership with Five Jars has been so productive that I have absolutely nothing to recommend to them.

**What problems is Five Jars solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company wanted to automate the process of notifying oil rig workers about their shifts. Employees often change shifts and we wanted to make this process more convenient and also move it online.

  ### 5. It was an incredible experience interacting with the development team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elliot V. | Electronic Musician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2022

**Describe the project or task Five Jars helped with:**

I am an electronic musician, producer, music label owner and record label owner. Having worked in the music industry for many years, I know how difficult it is to promote music products and distribute them to customers. My goal was to create a tool that offers customers the ability to easily listen, buy and download audio tracks with a variety of licenses. I was looking for a developer who could implement my idea.

**What do you like best about Five Jars?**

I found Five Jars in the Clutch ratings and decided to pick them for their price per hour and an office in LA where I can go if I want to. About five Five Jars developers worked with me at different times. We also involved the design department and QA engineers. The whole team was supervised by the project manager from the side of the developer! I stick to an informal style of communication even at work and the guys from Five Jars got involved in it without any problems. It was an incredible experience interacting with the development team! The guys from Five Jars really understood the specifics of the music industry and they were always open to my suggestions.

**What do you dislike about Five Jars?**

I have nothing to say about this. These guys are so nice and hardworking, I am very grateful to them for everything they have done for my label!

**What problems is Five Jars solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main goal was to create a platform with the ability for artists to upload their music tracks. Users who require background music (such as YouTubers, bloggers and other content creators) can choose a subscription plan of their liking or buy tracks one at a time. The platform also includes a large library of license-free tracks. Artists receive royalties for their work, and creators can use quality music at affordable prices. It's like Shutterstock, but for musicians! Now my platform includes over 100 genres and over 1000 music tracks and effects. Shortly I plan to scale this startup and add not only the roles of musicians and users but also other music labels.

  ### 6. Fitness system for a private fitness club

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna D. | Fitness Instructor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**Describe the project or task Five Jars helped with:**

I am the owner of a private fitness club and a fitness app for this club. When I started working with the Five Jars team, I had a system of two mobile applications and a website that is used to upload content to applications. The applications are built more or less well, but the main problem with the site is that it was poorly coded, so the site did not work correctly. This site had to be recreated.

**What do you like best about Five Jars?**

Five Jars is a significant development team for a non-tech user like me. They are ready to explain any development detail and not use highly specialized terms. In other words, the communication was terrific. I only communicated with our project manager via messenger, but we also had a few Zoom or Google Meet calls a month. We used a lot of internal tracking tools like Slack, so I always knew what was happening on the project.

**What do you dislike about Five Jars?**

I don't think they need to change anything - I'm happy with my collaboration with Five Jars.

**What problems is Five Jars solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our fitness system started to work much faster. Now it can handle a load of hundreds of users at once. Many of our clients have decided to try remote training from home using our updated system. The Five Jars development team rebuilt the site from scratch, implementing all the features I needed and increasing the speed of the entire fitness system. They did not work with mobile applications, only with the web platform, but the system works perfectly. It's hard for me to say exactly what they did with the site code, but now users with the administrator role can control almost anything on the site. Users with the role of a fitness trainer create personal training programs, upload videos, and can chat with fitness club clients. Users-clients of the fitness club can enter data about their status in the club, open training records available to them, ask questions to the trainer and pay for new tariff plans. Our fitness system started to work much faster. Now it can handle a load of hundreds of users at once. Many of our clients have decided to try remote training from home using our updated system.

  ### 7. eCommerce art gallery and artist portfolio

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen A. | Fine Artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2022

**Describe the project or task Five Jars helped with:**

I am a professional artist who is part of a community of professional painters, decorators, and frames. Our team strives to make it easier for businesses and individuals to purchase and collect art. Our community launched a startup selling contemporary art and customizing frames and glass for that. We needed an e-commerce site to customize the attributes of paintings and sculptures. In the future, we would like to add the ability to purchase NFT lots to the site.

**What do you like best about Five Jars?**

The team met the deadline for the estimates they made for us at the very beginning of the project. The site looks fantastic, and our community is now working to grow this business. We plan to add an NFT purchase to the site shortly, so our partnership with Five Jars continues. The Five Jars team are real partners, not performers. They dive into the project deep, suggest ideas, and implement them.

**What do you dislike about Five Jars?**

Working with them was a fantastic experience, so I have nothing to say.

**What problems is Five Jars solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our e-commerce website is dedicated to selling paintings and custom frames to art consultants and interior designers. The site is based on simple Drupal CMS software and an e-commerce plugin. The Five Jars team made it a goal to reduce the number of processes associated with purchasing works of art. The user can find a list of paintings with a detailed description, including the author, sizes, materials, prices, and then add the picture with the glass and frame they like. The team designer created a modern and attractive design based on our wishes - it does not look catchy and does not distract attention from the paintings.
