**What do you like best about Figma?**

It's a browser based platform, so I can use it anywhere and on any desktop/laptop. And a lot of features to use. Easy in prototyping and wireframing.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

As a customer, some time I need to talk someone for some urgent enquiry or issues, but there no direct communication, only can send mail.
- Some features are complicated to use, Like layout, component, and variables, these are good features but not use friendly

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Features should be easy to understand and user friendly. and some helpline number for direct communication

  ### 2. Complet and usefull tools

**What do you like best about Figma?**

I use Figam every days from 6 months now
I was easy to start, the free version is enought to test and get a good idea of the product.
A lot of feature, all you need for UI
Easy and fast design when you understand components features.
Easy to share
Real time collaboration
The support client was quick and good, I paid for a plan I didn't want and I've been paid back.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

The methode of paid access for teams/plan is a little obscure, no confirmation process.
I'd like to have more options for sharing (share only one design page, for example).
I'm new to Adobe XD and it was a bit tricky to get the hang of it at first.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Figma I can design the interface of a very complex product (an LMS).
I work with Figma throughout the design process, from wireframe to prototyping, and can ask my team to comment on each element.
Figma is regularly updated with new features and opens up new possibilities.

When you understand how the component and autolayout works, you can design new interface very quickly.

  ### 3. Future of Designing "FIGMA"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**What do you like best about Figma?**

There are a ton of things that I like about FIGMA: <br>1. Cloud or web browser-based application hence, easy to implement, easy to use, flexible, can be used from any machine anywhere,<br>2. It has access to plugins from various 3rd party applications hence versatile to use and implement,<br>3. As it can be used to create prototypes, it is being used many times by me in a single day.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

1. The developer mode is only available on the premium subscription edition, at least needed a trial feature so that it can be used at least once by normal users for the very first time as well.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma is solving problems like: <br>1. Code writing and implementing it in a time-consuming manner,<br>2. Easy development of designs for designers which later can be used to make developers understand the criteria,<br>3. Having 'developer mode' which will help to convert the frames and prototypes into easily accessible codes which can be later implemented if needed, hence future-proof.

  ### 4. Figma, a front-end developer's best friend

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Levan B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Figma?**

As a front-end developer, the UX of Figma is one of the best that I have experienced. When the design is created in Figma, everything is just light-work for a front-end developer. Everything is measured; you can even copy the CSS code, and you are just like a fish in the water. In my own experience, Figma’s support has been solid. The few times I’ve had to reach out, I’ve gotten helpful and timely responses. Plus, their Help Center has saved me a bunch of times when I needed quick answers. That said, the wait times can be a bit long during peak periods, and more complex issues might take a while to sort out. I'm using Figma almost daily because, as a front-end developer, almost every task is done by how it is described and painted on Figma. It has smooth integration with development tools such as Zeplin in my experience, and of course, Figma's own inspect feature makes it straightforward to hand off designs to developers. Figma also is very simple to implement into a front-end development workflow; you can quickly export design assets, use the inspect tool for CSS properties, and integrate with other tools via APIs.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

The only issue that I have with Figma is that it has some problems with large files. If you have a project with many artboards, images, and components, the performance can take a hit. This can make the app feel laggy and sometimes it even crashes. It’s annoying because it interrupts my workflow and can be a real time-waster.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma has been a huge help for me in front-end development. It’s made a lot of the tough stuff way easier. For instance, getting designs from Figma is like getting a cheat sheet for coding. It gives me all the details I need, like CSS stuff, so I can get things right the first time. Collaborating with the design team is way smoother too. No more waiting around for feedback. With Figma, we can all work on the same thing at the same time, which saves a ton of back-and-forth. And when it’s time to pass those designs over to the dev team, Figma makes it simple. It plays nicely with other tools, so there’s no fuss. And if I ever get stuck, Figma’s support team is there to help. They’re pretty reliable, and there’s a bunch of helpful stuff in their Help Center. Overall, using Figma every day just makes my job easier. It keeps everything organized and lets me focus on coding instead of dealing with design headaches.

  ### 5. Simple to use and good for beginner

**What do you like best about Figma?**

With Figma, We can create reusable components, styles, and assets, which ensures consistency across projects.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

Figma does not have a lot of offline capabilities.

Figma supports exporting in a variety of formats, however it does not offer as many customization options like webp or advanced PDF.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Traditional design workflows often struggle with collaboration because of file versioning issues, slow feedback, and difficulties in keeping team members aligned across different locations. Figma solves this by allowing teams to work together in real-time, share feedback instantly, and keep all design files in one place. This speeds up the design process, ensures consistency, and reduces miscommunication and lengthy review cycles.

  ### 7. Very helpful and easy to use

Is great for creating a prototype and wire frame. It can be used for a detailed discussion on UI before actually starting the development process.

  ### 9. Best in the design world! Truly a wonderful product :)

**What do you like best about Figma?**

Seamless syncing over multiple devices. We can edit on the web app, and can access the same thing on any device via web app or native desktop application.

Ease of use - Entire product is designed very beautifully keeping the simplicity of use in mind.

It offers a lot of design customization capabilities. Whether we want to design a mobile application, web application, any graphic content, presentations, mockups or literally anything creative, we can do it on Figma.

Collaborative editing is a cool stuff in Figma.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

Some advanced features are only available on the premium plan and not as a freemium, so it will be tough for freelancers/individual designers to invest in exploring something new.

It sometimes lags on web browsers.

A little bit intimidating for beginners. Especially multiple design layers and groups can be tough for a beginner to understand.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One tool for designing and collaborating with other designers in the team. Share prototypes and brainstorm design discussions with the power of collaborative editing. Managing design catalogs.

The usability, the way people can co-work in the same file, the tools it offers, the integration with external tools.

Maybe that some tutorial is needed before using it, but this is not a bad point overall.

We finally can do UX review directly in Figma, where the prototype/mockup is. This means that we have some context, we can see exactly where our text is going to be, how long can our text be (also taking translations into consideration).

Figma solves the problem of giving me a place to setup a design system and utilise it to make my workflows of ideating screens with the help of components faster.

  ### 14. Best UI designing tool

**What do you like best about Figma?**

Figma is a powerful and intuitive design tool that excels in collaborative work. Being able to drag and drop images and icons makes it so easy to use. I find the in app shapes etc a bit complicated coming from no design background but I'm working really quickly now I'm dragging and dropping. Its real-time editing and seamless sharing features make it a top choice for me. The cloud-based platform fosters smooth teamwork, making design projects efficient and enjoyable.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

It's great that you no longer need to run the desktop version of Figma to view prototypes on your phone. However, mirroring is still a sluggish experience, and I often find myself killing the app to restart mirroring as this fails once you've casted a screen, your phone goes on standby or locks itself. All you see after that is a blank screen with a loading state, or the cached screen that won't link out to another screen or perform an interaction anymore.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being a designer, this app is so convenient and time saving for me. This app is amazing for doing visual design at all. It took no time to learn and get proficient on it. The content is cross platform accessible, so I built my prototype on the computer and then tested some people using my phone as the prototype. It's frigging awesome and I fully intend to buy the full version of this program to use in the future.

**What do you like best about Figma?**

I love how they are doing user research and releasing new features frequently to solve user problems. They are finding ways to bridge the gap between design and coding to allow the ease of integration. **What do you like best about Figma?**

Figma gave me the door into the design world. As an amateur with a marketing and sales background, I was always hooked on how designers deliver marketers' messages. I hated other tools because of the basic templates or functions. You can create any idea you are projecting!

I can't say much, because mainly it has all the flexibility and works really well with the other tools that I use heavily like Webflow, Notion, etc...

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Figma?**

One of the best features of Figma is the ability to collaborate with other professionals on the same frame. Additionally, it is very easy to get familiar with the tools, as it is very similar to other software that I am used to using frequently. After a few years of using Figma daily, I have practically migrated from Photoshop almost 100% to Figma.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

The price could be more affordable, or have localized pricing options. In my region, the dollar is very high, making the tool very expensive.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I started using Figma as a tool to create advertising banners, and after a while, I became interested in UI/UX and started studying the subject. Today, I am participating in UI projects, and Figma has been essential in the development of elements and design systems.

There are features in Figma that are constantly improving. What could help me a lot, in my opinion, is the existence of typographic variables.

**What do you like best about Figma?**

The "Drag & Drop" approach for building the application's prototype is an excellent feature of Figma. super easy to use and it has built-in animation templates so you can animate anything and build a real-time prototype that just looks like an app. It also provides a section to find the code for Android and iOS for the easy to adopt UI including colors, fonts etc which is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

Did not find anything specific to dislike about figma till now

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Figma when a client just has an idea and wants to build an App from it but he does not have any design or mockup ready. I create a design using Figma and get the client's approval and then collaborate with iOS and Android devs to replicate the same, so the design remains identical on each platform

**What do you like best about Figma?**

We use Figma on a daily basis to mock up the applications and websites we develop, high fidelity prototypes, customer journey mapping and manage our design components. We also use it for brochures and general branding for marketing. We store all the images of the applications and the institutional website there. The customer service was good only one time we needed to solve a problem, the truth is that the application is very intuitive

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

Sometimes it is not easy to manage user accounts and in some models we do not manage to have the comments received by mail by the user.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Figma saves us time by being able to do all our design and content centralized in one place. It has great features and is easy for developers to copy and use as an image repository, transporting data across screens and having actual text inputs for prototyping will save us even more by reducing dependency on other applications. It can be easily logged in and used anywhere. It has very good component management. I emphasize the ease of use for designers who are starting out

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

One aspect where Figma can improve is by enhancing its offline capabilities. While Figma's cloud-based approach is excellent for collaboration and accessibility, having robust offline functionality would benefit users who may encounter intermittent internet connectivity or prefer to work without an internet connection.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

Figma is tackling issues with its offline capabilities in order to address the fundamental causes of the problems rather than just dealing with the symptoms. Being unable to record and replay conversations in FigJam's audio chat makes it difficult to analyze and reflect on discussions.

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a Figma user for a year, I'm hooked! It solves so many design problems: real-time collaboration keeps my team in sync, prototyping lets me test ideas quickly, and the cloud-based platform makes access effortless. Now, I can design faster and more efficiently than ever before! Figma is essential to our company's UX design process as it helps us create the first frontend screens from scratch for our projects all the way up to the Minimum Viable Product.

Web Based Software so there is no need to download any software you need to have a browser and an internet connection. Auto saves feature which helps a lot and the real-time collaboration feature is the best to work with a team on a single project.

**What do you dislike about Figma?**

The only thing I dislike about figma is that it doesn't show the history of change made by whom. Rest everything is so good

**What problems is Figma solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating high-quality UI/UX Designs. Sharing preview files with clients and the comment section helps clients note changes. Collaborating with team and work on the same project in Real-time.
