
Fanpage Karma allowed me to scrape social media data without the need to do manual coding. It is very easy to use once you've watched the tutorial. It has data from as early as 2011. In fact, I was able to publish a paper which involved a longitudinal content analysis in a top journal using the data I scraped from the platform. Since discovering this, I have been openly sharing Fanpage Karma among colleagues in the international space during conferences.
I can confidently say that I have explored the platform for about two years now, and I found that it is easy to look for social media influencers for the topic or line of business. Also, I tried linking my own page and it allows me to respond to clients directly from there, assign team members to respond to them, and even schedule or create posts within the platform. It's very easy once you get the hang of it.
One more thing, what I truly appreciate is Fanpage Karma's customer support. Every time I reach out to raise concerns and ask for a possible feature, Ksenia and Juan are ready to help me. I'm so grateful! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Fanpage Karma may be a little pricey for students, but of course, we are not their target market. I feel that if I am a business, despite the price, I will still avail of it to perform competitor analysis and sentiment analysis. Simply put, I don't dislike the platform.
