Seems like specialization is happening in retail AI chatbots.

Most of the players listed below focus primarily on support:
Fin, Zendesk, Redo, Gorgias, Birdeye, Tidio

But for ecommerce merchants, product brands, and DTC companies looking to increase conversions and drive new sales, a different group stands out and claim to be built for:
	•	Product recommendations
	•	Handling complex pre-sale questions

Here are a few that shine in that category:
	1.	Chatsi
	2.	Big Sur AI
	3.	Remark
	4.	Anagram
	5.	Bloomreach / Clarity

We used Fin by Intercom for our B2B software support, I dont think they offer ecom-style product catalog integrations as needed for live product recommendations, but for simple knowledge-based answers from a FAQ or document ingest seems OK.
