Center to FanAngel is the "performance pledges". Imagine being asked to donate $10 for each touchdown at a key rivalry game or for each win during the playoffs...and now you start to get the picture. But FanAngel doesn't stop there. FanAngel continues to innovate around what works in sports fundraising, currently supporting multiple reward options, sponsorships, social interactions, compliance features and will continue to innovate around the teams/athletes and their fans. ## FanAngel Reviews ### 1. Rhonda, the customer rep, was very helpful and made the experience seamless. Simple and extremely helpful video tutorials to help get started. Rhonda customized the campaign webpage without us lifting a finger. It was very easy to follow the progress and know exactly which players did their part and how much they raised. The funds were directed into the school account without a hitch. **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** I have no criticism of the software at all. It is a great product. **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** It is a great product. Highly recommended. **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to reach our goal of $10,000 in a month-long campaign. FanAngel's fee of 7% allowed us to keep much more of the funds that we raised, compared to the 20% fee of a competitor platform that we used last year. I highly recommend FanAngel. ### 2. With them we received about 70% of our donations. Even less because they took all of the cost of the incentives to the kids that they said were necessary to reach our goal. Fan Angel everything was very up front, they walked me through everything and we received exactly what they said we would. This was by far the best and easiest fundraiser that I have done!! **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** There is absolutely nothing to dislike about FanAngel! **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** At THS our programs have used 3 different vendors who offer similar type fundraisers and Fan Angel is by far the best. Most of our programs will likely switch unless the other vendors can offer a similar profit margin. **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used this as our primary fundraiser for my baseball team and raised more money then we expected. This will go a long way to help our team purchase much needed equipment, allow participation in tournaments, etc... ### 3. When researching crowdfunding platforms, John gave us a candid and informative discussion on the process, the company's history, and its abilites. After an easy pre-campaign questionnaire, Rhonda was there to guide me with any customizations. Both went above and beyond and were easily reached at a variety of times (my volunteer hours are not always aligned to business times). I was provided informational emails throughout the campaign, including expected targets & how to increase numbers. But as importantly, I was able to easily manage the campaign numbers along the way. **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** There was nothing I disliked about our campaign with FanAngel. It was easy to set-up, manage along the way, and money was deposited as expected. It was so nice to see that 90.2% net percentage! **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used FanAngel as our primary high school athletics booster club fundraising. Other sports teams had used SnapRaise, but we refused to lose such a large percentage of our fundraising. FanAngel required a few more hours of work on our end - review website & email templates, create video with your phone, and ensure participation & registration - but it was so worth the savings! ### 4. Rhonda was always a BIG help getting things covered, from set up to questions in between to checking in on how things were going through the process. Dave and Rhonda were super friendly and actually took time to help answer questions and I didn't feel like I was a bother. They have exemplary customer service. If you compare to other online direct donation fundraisers, this is one you should use! SnapRaise was a fail- couldn't get started and the percentage they take is way way more than FanAngel. I am very pleased with start to finish with FanAngel!! **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** Nothing to dislike, but I wish that we could post wish lists and have people click on it and donate to that specific wish on the list. Hoping to have Spanish videos that can help with tutorial on setting up on how to register and start FanAngel . **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** Even if you are just looking to get started, FanAngel will help you all along the way. Easy to talk to and work with!! **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** We realize that we can raise funds to help our school programs if we find the right company that will help us to do just that. ### 5. It was super easy to use and my rep was helpful and always there to answer my questions. **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** The only hiccup we ran into was when we added accounts after the campaign launched however that was taken care of with a phone call within minutes. **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** Raising money for high school sports is necessary and not the funnest part of the job but FanAngel made it an easy and effective option to raise funds. We explored our options with this type of fundraiser and are glad we chose FanAngel ### 6. It's the families that make it difficult! haha **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** I've used FanAngel for 2 separate fundraisers. Both circumstances with the teams were similar, but my personal life changed, without a hiccup- whether I was totally hands on or hands off, Fan Angel stepped in and either reminded me of upcoming dates or took care of them for me. I so appreciated the support. **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a self funded program. Using FanAngel has increased our spending capabilities and given us financial flexibility to order new uniforms and hire an assistant coach. ### 9. It was very easily set up and launched in a very timely manner. Whatever your timeline they will make it work. **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** I have absolutely zero complaints with how the fundraiser went and with how easy it was to set up and launch. We have used other sites in the past and this was just way better and easier. **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** I would highly recommend FanAngel for the ease of use, the quality customer support along the way, and the high profit margins. FanAngel does it right and the results show! **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were doing a high school baseball fundraiser to raise funds to get the final needed funds for new dugouts, and this exceeded our needs. ### 10. FanAngel is the best of online, team fundraising platforms without the pushy used car salesman (no offense meant to current car salesmen) elements of the competition. The price is low and fair. The easy use of video makes for great personalization and the customer service was top notch. **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** There wasn't anything that I disliked. I'd would and recommended additional features that most folks probably would never use. Those just haven't been built out yet but I'm sure they will over time. **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** Try it. **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've leaned away from online fundraising platforms because they feel slick, impersonal and the companies try to keep the donor data so that you are dependent on them in the future. This platform has all the convenience with all the ownership rights that a nonprofit organization or team should be entitled to. They have the best intentions and are honest. Really. ### 11. After a couple of emails back and forth with Dave, our page was ready to go live. **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** I honestly can't think of anything I disliked about the Fan Angel site or experience. Everything was great. It's the most amount of money we have ever raised in one fundraiser, and the easiest! **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** Using Fan Angel is super easy, convenient, and little work involved on your end. By simply answering a few questions your site will be up and ready to go in no time. **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our students struggle with selling fundraiser items. It was much easier for them to come up with the emails of friends and families. ### 12. I've been involved through other teams fundraisers that used programs that are similar to use and have the same features that FanAngel provided. But at the end of the day for me was how much was I getting back from this fundraiser and no one compares to FanAngel. Plus Dave is right there every step of the way to answer or resolve any issues or questions that you might have. **What do you dislike about FanAngel?** Wasn't really anything that I didn't like. I recall at the end of the fundraiser there was a brief issue on getting the funds transferred from the FanAngel account to my bank account but I don't believe that this was a FanAngel problem as much as it was the third party banking transferring institution that they used. Either way, Dave helped me get everything squared away and we received all our money which ended up to be right about $5,000. **Recommendations to others considering FanAngel:** Hands down what matters most is what you are raising money for and how much of it you get at the end of the fundraiser. FanAngel is the leader due to a smaller employee base and low advertisement Dave is able to give you more bang for your buck, Plus Customer service is great because you deal with the owner who you know really cares about not just his product but your organizational goals. **What problems is FanAngel solving and how is that benefiting you?** In this day and age, fundraising programs online have taken over from the door to door method. FanAngel helps ease your mind with the simplicity and transparent application of their program. It's also nice having direct contact with the person that designed and owns the company because you know he takes pride in his product. ### 13.
