"Very Quick, Very Easy and Very Convenient"
What do you like best about Extend?

Extend is so helpful in not only keeping our main credit card account numbers secure from fraudulent activity by creating virtual card numbers, but it also allows us to instantaneously categorize each expense for budgeting and monthly statement reconciliation. Highly recommend Extend for any business wanting to streamline their expenses and keep their card numbers secure.

The initial implementation and integration processes only took about 5 minutes to setup and the process of setting up a new v-card takes less than 1 minute, thus ease of integration is superb. We utilize the services of Extend daily for multiple transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

We have not found any downsides or dislikes with Extend, it is so easy use and very quick to add, edit or inactivate v-cards on the fly. And because we have never had any issues , we have not had any need to interact with Customer Service to-date. But we anticipate that they would also be very helpful and efficient for a resolution if any issue were to arise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Temporary & Recurring Cards for Payments and Co-Workers"
What do you like best about Extend?

I like best about Extend is the ease of creating temporary or recurring credit cards for payments and co-workers. Also, expiration dates can be chosen, cards can be canceled easily. Virtual cards can also be used multiple times until the balance is used. Customer support was great, we had a virtual meeting that answered our questions and walked through some of the features. What do you dislike about Extend?

In the free version, only five members can be issued a card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Efficient, and Great for Streamlined Collaboration"
What do you like best about Extend?

What I like best about Extend is how intuitive and efficient it is. It streamlines workflows, keeps information centralized, and makes collaboration easier by reducing back‑and‑forth and manual steps. Overall, it helps save time and supports more consistent, organized outcomes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

Sometimes cards decline without a clear reason, even when all parameters are correct. When this happens, the entire process has to be redone, which can be time‑consuming and frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Outdated, difficult if compromised or to integrate"
What do you like best about Extend?

Finally, after over a year, we were able to get our Amex Rewards linked to our Amazon. We have over $38K in rewards available. Our rep took the time to come out to our office to get it working because no one else was helping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

Amex doesn't understand how virtual cards work. Each time a virtual card is compromised and has to be closed, they insist on closing the main gold card as well. The whole idea with the virtual card is that you are not using the Gold Card therefore protecting it. Capital One understands this and only shuts down the virtual card. No waiting for a new physical card to be issued. No having to update payment methods. And there is still the issue with this particular platform of Amex not staying connected to QuickBooks Online. Amex is outdated and archaic. They need to get with the times. And people pay an annual fee for this lousy service. Unbelievable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Virtual Card Management for our Remote Team"
What do you like best about Extend?

Extend has made managing online payments and subscriptions so much easier for our remote team. I love how quickly we can issue virtual cards for team members or one-off transactions without going through lengthy approval chains. The controls are clear, the interface is intuitive, and it keeps our accounting organized — every transaction is easy to track and categorize. It’s also been a big help in managing spending limits and improving accountability across departments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

Nothing major so far, overall it’s been smooth, reliable, and exactly what we needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Payment Security with Virtual Cards"
What do you like best about Extend?

I like that Extend allows us to create individual credit card numbers for each application, which means each case is unique and we can easily track back to specific cases. I appreciate the safety aspect because Extend provides a safe way to pay fees without exposing our actual credit card number to the web. The initial setup was pretty simple too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

I wish I would be able to get a notification or email when a virtual card is charged so that we can know in real time when the funds are being paid/debited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple and Straightforward User Interface"
What do you like best about Extend?

The user interface is simple and easy to navigate. It provides a secure method for sharing card information with our vendors, which gives us peace of mind. Additionally, the process of implementing new cards is quick and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

The main problem I encounter with Extend is that sometimes charges appear as pending for an extended period, only for me to later discover that they were actually declined. This can cause issues, especially if the recipient has not received the funds after the typical 2-3 day window it takes for Amex to process the transaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Credit Card Management but Needs UI Improvements"
What do you like best about Extend?

I find the sign-up process for Extend very easy, and I like how responsive the website is. The virtual card creation feature has been the most useful part for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

The website format does not nicely support right-clicking to get more information in a new tab. It does not keep track of where you clicked when you go to a new screen; so when you go back, you end up back on top of the list instead of where you were at. It also limits you to 100 in the free version, and that applies to your whole account instead of per card. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient with Receipt Management, Needs Decline Clarity"
What do you like best about Extend?

I like Extend because of the ability to attach receipts directly in the account. Previously, I had to use Google Drive folders for receipts, but now I can log into the account and attach receipts right there. Also, it helps me keep track of which receipts are missing. The initial setup was straightforward, and issuing the cards was an easy process—we have 27 on our account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Extend?

We get a lot of declines and don't know why. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
