I like how it's easy for my users, who most not good with computers, can navigate and create share links through web browser. It's also very easy to setup a ftp client if you want to have more of a desktop experience, like i do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If i have to say something i dislike, if someone uses the browser version and want to download multiple files, it alwaya compresses the files into a zip first. THe compression can take a long time, because of how many files there can be. The progress bar can be 0% for a long time. Long enough for my users to think the browser would freeze on them. We are a consulting and software support company. We supply FTP hosting for many of our clients. Exavaults pricing for the FTP hosting service is the best in the market. Exavault allows unlimited users, customers and folders at a fair price. In the past, we have used several different FTP hosting sites, and after a year or so, they all raised their pricing to the point they were no longer economical as a vendor. No FTP hosting service meets everyone's specific needs. We find Exavault a bit tiresome in the way they handle the user setup, but it is still very usable. The one thing that would be helpful is a notepad attached to each user to hold vital information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is straightforward and very easy to understand. As soon as I could log in I was able to start transferring data with absolutely no training. We are located relatively far away from where the data center is - on a completely different continent - so we found that data transfer speed was initially challenging but as our internet connections have improved locally we are finding it easier and easier to use ExaVault and the speed issue is almost non-existent. Our favorite part about Exavault is that aside from being a very solid platform, you can reach an actual person when you need something. Our biggest issue trying to get a sftp solution was security and compliance (We are a bank), not that other platforms don't have it, but there was no one to get us the answers that we need.

For a while, I could not get multiple webhook instances setup due to the plan we were on, we ended up upgrading for the same cost after asking about it. There is also no granular options for requiring MFA, we had to cut all users over at one time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I primarily needed some cloud storage where suppliers could read files I have placed there, and vice versa: suppliers place stock availability files on our ExaVault account for our systems to read and make use of. This is all via a cron job, so a good API and reliable SFTP access was essential. Exavault ticked both those boxes and hasn't given me a single issue in years. Communication with regard to API changes has been only what was necessary and everything that was necessary, so I have a clear timescale for my dev roadmap and know what needs to be done (and the timescale for moving off legacy API calls is generous, too). We have been an Exavault customer for over 10 years. As a Transcription and Software provider, we find their platform simple, with a UI that is intuitive and customizable. Our clients and their medical/legal providers find the platform consistently reliable and easy to use. Their support is unmatched, quick to respond and personal, even though they have thousands of users. I know that if I have an issue, they will respond immediately. This is critical to our business and they fully understand that. They have the power and services of most huge competitors, at half the cost and with unrivaled support.
