I love the ease of previewing your changes! Plus the efficiency of syncing updates integrating into Intellum so quickly is amazing. The Support team is hands-down the best team I've worked with. They are so fast at responding and they do not mind me sending many emails to them for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The interface for the text portions of any component I struggle with. If you want your text to be white, the backend changes it to white as well and you are unable to see your text for future edits without having to change the color back to black.

I also wish any updates/edits aren't finalized until you say so for large edits that you may not want to implement. Reverting back to original would be beneificial for testing purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy Evolve Authoring more than other authoring tools because I feel it offers the best combination of:

-Efficiency (it's very quick and easy to build in and there are handy shortcuts when implementing global changes)

-Customization (the end product can appear surprisingly bespoke in spite of the components being pre-set)

-Accessibility - though it still has some areas in which it needs to improve, it's definitely made the most effort accessibility-wise of the authoring tools I've built in, and being able to raise tickets and request features through customer support is great.

-Responsive - really great that it offers so many options to alter and preview elements for different device sizes

-The logic/triggers system is pretty good - not as extensive as storyline, but as a result it doesn't break half as easily either, more reliable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-The theme page is a bit chaotic still and even after years I still find it tricky to figure out how to change the appearance of certain elements/where they're pulling their settings from.

-A recent update made it so that you can't view reviewer comments at the same time as editing a component, because reviewers often leave comments on a block or article rather than the component itself. This is incredibly frustrating at times when trying to action feedback

-Since the big update earlier this year (though I was a fan in many ways), there are some serious bugs such as deleting one element sometimes deletes something completely different instead, or elements will temporarily glitch and change name. It's not common but given that there is no 'undo' button when deleting things (I hope there will be someday), this can cause huge issues when present.

-It would be cool if accessibility was considered for developers too - even if there was the option to colour-code pages or articles in the back end, it would make the development experience feel less chaotic, though I appreciate this is personal preference :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The range of components give you a lot of options to not only make an engaging experience for users, but also to make something that looks great.

I think the way that the styling is organised needs some work. It is very confusing at the moment and I feel that I spend a lot of my time hunting in the theme for the one setting that changes the item I need.

It would be really useful if when in the preview, if you hover over an item/ component, it tells you where to find that item in the theme. Or in the page builder you should be able to left click on a component and there is an option to take you to it's appearance/ theme settings.

I have used Evolve almost daily for the last two years. It's a powerful authoring tool, which is receiving regular updates. The ability to create unique courses, using a web-page like layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a complicated tool, and the initall learning curve is very steep — so starting off can be hard. The team does its best to provide support but help can be hard to find for specific issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Intuative to use and you have easy access to knowledge base right from with in the tool itself, and it takes you to the relevant articles depending upon what you're using at the; worlds apart from the last software we used.

I've not uncovered anything as yet, but we're only been using it for a few months, I'm bound to find something as I am quite picky, but not found anything yet Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pros are 3 things as below;

1. it's easy to learn and use due to user friendly interface.

2. I don't need to worry about device issue since it's reposive design.
