What do you like best about ESO Fire RMS?

It allows for keeping track of all items in FH such as inventory, runs, call volume, personnel and many other aspects of daily work at the fire house. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ESO Fire RMS?

It is at times not very user friendly at all. I have to make numerous calls to them to get tech support on items that I would normally be easy on other programs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ESO Fire RMS:

Be ready to call them on numerous occasions for tech support. I will say that there is many times when I call they have to create a new query or report that they have not had and that takes some time. Covid 19 seems to have been a challenge for them with getting back to people on their requests. I do feel that the staff is very helpful and nice though. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ESO Fire RMS solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is difficult to extract our own data and get it reloaded into other DBs. But we are working with ESO to find a work-around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Do your homework. They are a good company, easy to work with, and we find their overall direction in analytics to be heading in the right direction. I have a little difficulty with the fact that we need to pay to get our data back out of ESO, as opposed to on-prem solutions that we have had in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ESO Fire RMS?

The simplicity of its use, the majority of our members picked-up on the new reporting system quickly and commented on its intuitive format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ESO Fire RMS?

The auto-CAD import does not always come over from EHR without validation issues. This has created confusion from some of our members not understanding why some EHR reports come over to Fire as Locked and others remain in Draft status. We were told that this issue was being worked on and 8 months post-implementation, it has not been resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The fire product replacing Firehouse is not fully where it needs to be yet. You have to purchase multiple solutions to make up for some of the functions lost in the transition from Firehouse to ESO Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ESO Fire RMS?

I like that the user can be an administrator and create their own reports without technical assistance. They have annual conferences that cater to the user and the administrator. They teach you how to be self sufficient with your software. If you do need to contact user support, you get a real person that can tap into your computer via internet and walk you through exactly what you need to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ESO Fire RMS?

Some modules are limited as to what you can add or delete to customize them. For example, when creating the 'truck check' section, I could only add so many items that needed to be checked. On inspections, it was difficult to get a report to print out for the customer that was easy to comprehend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering ESO Fire RMS:

Firehouse has come a long way in the years I have used it. They are now offering cloud based so it can be used from anywhere. It is versatile and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Inspection reports, incident reports, asset inventory. I like that you can set up reminders for annual inspections and they create a notice for the user and materials to send to the recipient of the inspection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
