What is eSign, and what problem is it built to solve?

E-Sign is a UK-based digital signature service that helps individuals and businesses sign documents electronically and streamline document management. It is intended to improve efficiency and reduce paper use for legal, financial, and personal documentation.

What languages does eSign support?

E-Sign supports 8 languages, including Chinese (Simplified), English, French, German, Italian, and others.

What company sizes and industries is eSign the best fit for?

E-Sign is most often used by small businesses, with mid-market and enterprise teams also represented. The industries with the strongest presence include:
  • Small businesses: The clearest company-size cluster among positively rated users.
  • Mid-market and enterprise: Also represented, though less prominently than small businesses.
  • Financial services and real estate: Among the most common industry segments.
  • Marketing and advertising, and information technology: Also recurring industry segments.
  • Construction and education: Further areas of use.

How long does it take to implement eSign across a team?

Implementation is often quick, with under a day the most commonly reported time to go live. Other reported timelines range from under a month to several months.
Time to go live Relative frequency
Under 1 day Most common
Under 1 month Less common
3–6 months Less common

What customer support options does eSign provide, and how do users find the overall support experience?

Support is available through phone, chat, and email, with 24/7 live-rep support also offered. The experience is often described as helpful and responsive, though some users have had frustrating interactions or wanted better account-manager support.

What features or capabilities could make eSign even more useful?

E-Sign could be more useful with smoother document handling and more flexibility around sending and editing documents. Users also point to opportunities to make the interface and signing process clearer and to improve customization and notifications.
  • Document workflows: Make it easier to upload, select, bundle, or amend multiple documents without restarting a sending process.
  • Interface and signing guidance: Improve mobile usability and make steps such as choosing signers and placing signature fields more intuitive.
  • Customization and notifications: Offer more control over recipient details and email content, along with clearer or more configurable notifications.

"Affordable alternative to other E-Signature suppliers"
4.5/5
What do you like best about eSign?

The fact that it is affordable and that you can pay as you go set it apart from other suppliers... especially as we are a start-up. Customer service has always been good and they seem to always be adding more functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about eSign?

To start with it took a little while to figure out how it works as you have to upload a pdf, not a word doc - I do however think things have become more straightforward recently. It would also be good if you could go back and edit the message on the confirmation page without starting the entire process again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Luke Garrett of E-Sign

Hi Lewis

Thank you for your positive feedback of E-Sign. In January we have more scheduled updates and features going live to enhance the usability of the platform further.

Kind regards

Luke

"Has moved our company forward!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about eSign?

Not having to wait around or make a visit to a client to get them to sign. Also a digital signature appears far easier to obtain than a pen to paper signature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about eSign?

A couple of small features would be great (like a copy of the document sent to the admin when they send) but other than that it's great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Luke Garrett of E-Sign

Hi

We truly appreciate your feedback provided, and we are glad it fits your business requirements well.

"Good site for small businesses"
5/5
What do you like best about eSign?

I like how I am not forced to buy a plan and can do pay as you go. I have used the product now for a few months and it is easier to use than many Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about eSign?

Sometimes the signing process can get a little long winded. For example if you are the only signer it can be longwinded to choose where to sign then go to next screen to sign Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Luke Garrett of E-Sign

Hi Sanjay

Thanks for your positive feedback. You may find our scheduled updates for January and February of benefit, because we are simplifying the process for document creators to sign their own documents.

If you ever wish to discuss anything about the system or updates, please don't hesitate to get in touch via our support chat within your E-Sign account.

Kind regards

Luke

What do you like best about eSign?

It's a really easy and intuitive service. A simple 'point and click' process that speeds up and streamlines our services. The ability to file and arrange our signed documents in an additional digital location is excellent as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about eSign?

I can't honestly think of any area of improvement for the service! It seems to cover all areas of the business we expected it too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Very good so far"
5/5
What do you like best about eSign?

Very easy to use and simple interface. Not too many steps needed to get to what you want. Simple to use from both parties. The price is very good too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about eSign?

Maybe looks a little dated?!

Also it would be good to be able to send two documents at one but with different signing capabilities. Eg one with just someone else signing, and another with myself and another person signing. At the moment, it seems like I have to send two documents out, rather than both in one email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Luke Garrett of E-Sign

Hi Hen

Thank you for your feedback.

The document pack sending options is under review at the moment with the intention to update the workflow in Spring 2019.

Kind regards

Luke
