I really like the real-time visibility into resource availability and project capacity that eResource Scheduler provides. It makes scheduling the field team much more efficient and helps us balance workloads. The ability to quickly adjust resource allocation as project requirements change is invaluable. The real-time visibility allows us to instantly see which engineers and specialists are available or fully booked, and where capacity exists, helping us make faster staffing decisions and avoid scheduling conflicts. The initial setup was straightforward and well organized, making it easy for our managers to adopt with minimal training.

**What do you like best about eResource Scheduler?**

The time zone aware scheduling is what works best for us at One World eCom. We coordinate contractors and logistics partners across multiple countries and keeping everyone aligned on who is doing what and when used to be a constant headache. eResource Scheduler
gives me one place to see all of that without having to chase people across different time zones. The resource availability view is also something I check regularly before onboarding new partners to make sure we have the capacity to support them properly.

**What do you dislike about eResource Scheduler?**

For a small lean team like ours some of the configuration options feel like they were designed with much larger organizations in mind. Getting it set up to reflect how we actually work took more tinkering than I expected. A lighter onboarding path for smaller teams would make a real difference.

**What problems is eResource Scheduler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility across a distributed network of contractors was the core problem. Before eResource Scheduler I had no reliable way of knowing who was committed where at any given time which made taking on new clients risky. Now I can see capacity at a glance and make expansion decisions with a lot more confidence than before.

**What do you like best about eResource Scheduler?**

The color coded booking chart is what I end up using most in planning meetings. I can pull it up and everyone sees their own allocation without me having to brief them separately. It cut down a lot of the back and forth we used to have when multiple projects were running at the same time and nobody was quite sure where they stood.

**What do you dislike about eResource Scheduler?**

For the kind of projects we run some lasting over a year  the long range planning view doesn't go far enough out. Planning beyond a few months requires some manual workarounds which gets tedious. Not a dealbreaker but something I run into more than I'd like.

**What problems is eResource Scheduler solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gaps between project phases were costing us money. People sitting unbilled between assignments is a real problem in architecture and eRS gives us enough visibility to spot those gaps early and fill them before they become a problem. That alone has made a noticeable difference to how we plan.

Honestly the thing I keep coming back to is how uncluttered it feels. I manage resources across three departments and with most tools I've used, that means a lot of noise on screen. With eResource Scheduler it's clean filters actually work the way you expect them to, and finding what you need doesn't feel like a treasure hunt. My team picked it up pretty fast too which is always a good sign.

I've had a few moments where I needed to check something quickly while away from my desk and the mobile experience just isn't there yet. It's usable but you can tell it wasn't the main focus when they built it.

Visibility across departments was our biggest headache. Each team used to manage their own tracker and nothing talked to each other. Now I have one view that covers everyone. When a project lead asks me if we have capacity for something next month I can give them an actual answer in two minutes instead of having to go chase three different people.

The skill based filtering is what I rely on most. When a new project comes in I can filter by skill set and immediately see who has the right background and the capacity to take it on. Before eRS that process involved a lot of emails and back and forth that honestly wasted more time than the actual work did. The forecasting view also helps me have more confident conversations with clients about timelines.

The mobile experience needs work. I travel between client sites regularly and checking schedules on my phone is not as smooth as it should be. It's functional but feels like an afterthought compared to the desktop version.

Overpromising on delivery dates was our biggest issue. When you don't have a clear picture of capacity you make commitments that are hard to keep. eRS fixed that by giving us one reliable source of truth for availability across the whole team.

The heatmap view is something I didn't know I needed until I had it. Being able to see at a glance who's overloaded and who has room  without pulling a report or asking around  has genuinely changed how I run my weekly planning sessions. I used to rely on gut feeling a lot more than I'd like to admit.

First few days were a bit rough. There's a lot you can configure and it wasn't always obvious where to start. I had to lean on support a couple of times just to get the basics set up the way I wanted. A proper setup guide would go a long way.

The big one for me was overbooking. We kept running into situations where someone was pulled into three things at once and nobody caught it until it was already a problem. The visual booking chart is what I rely on most. Being able to see the full team allocation at a glance makes planning meetings and project kick offs much easier. Before eRS we were managing this across spreadsheets and email which for a project management firm is honestly embarrassing. The drag and drop functionality saves a lot of time when assignments change last minute which in construction happens constantly.

Some of the reporting options could be more flexible. For our type of work we sometimes need very specific operational reports and the standard templates don't always cover what we need. Not a dealbreaker but more customization options would be welcome.

eResource Scheduler works like a charm and meets our all resource scheduling needs for our company. It is easy to intregate. We can easily know who is working of which project. It is cloudbased, and affordable, just $5 and also provide the trial. We are using it on monthly bases. It is very easy to use and implemant. Customer support is also good.

eResource Scheduler did't have mobile app.

This tool is an amazing game changer. This software captures all the possible information about all resources in a central database which makes the identification of the resources easy. Also, by using the access rights feature,  office managers were given the right to view resources on their own and their allocations. It also offers the features of real-time visibility and effective communication among resource coordinators, project managers and office managers.

**What do you dislike about eResource Scheduler?**

Haven’t found any downsides yet. I will come back and edit the review if I find anything which should be shared with our community. The support provided by them is truly time-saving. They are always all ears to implement any change or add-on requested by us.

Resource allocation and management to organize resources and their efficiency and ensure they're informed as to their work schedules as quickly and easily
done with the use of eRS.
