Interface between TOP's 1 and our banking institution is seamless and superior to what I used in the past and overall support from the TOP's employees is great.

**What do you like best about Enumerate?**

I love the reports available and how they can be customized as well as downloaded to extract the data that is needed.  I also love the way TOPS Pay works and the convenience that it offers my homeowners as well as myself when it comes to bank reconciliation time.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

The amount of time it takes to get a response from Customer Service.  It has been improving but I still don't believe it is as quick as it should be

**Recommendations to others considering Enumerate:**

You have to be willing to be patient with Customer Support.  It is improving but still has a long way to go.  I am currently trying to talk my BOD into using the TOPS website as well.  There are so many integratable parts to TOPS that it is a shame not to take advantage of them all.  Try to make the time to watch the video tutorials and ask plenty of questions.  I would suggest doing the videos close to implementation and conversion time so you remember most of them.  It is also a great platform for collecting and managing email addresses for your members which will allow you to do many things, i.e. electronic voting, email blasts, etc.

**What problems is Enumerate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data base capable of storing information for our main HOA and the subordinate HOAs within it - similar to a Master/Sub plan.  My HOA has over 3900 properties divided into over 65 units with 65 different sets of restrictions.  TOPS allows me to sort the data as I need it for reporting purposes and for use within the different units as well as the entire HOA.  This has freed up a lot of my time in creating excel spreadsheets.  I also love the Owners' Portal.  I hope to see more added to it in the future, but the portal itself has probably cut in half the number of phone calls that come into our office.

**What do you like best about Enumerate?**

TOPS One's clean non fussy website.  Functions are logically laid out which creates efficiency.  We converted from TOPs pro to TOPSONE and we have been able to stream line our daily accounting transactions and love that we have access to our data 24/7/365. Its highly useful at Board meetings as we can quickly retrieve documents and answers questions. Love the multi-use profile and access.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

It really not a dislike, but I would love more training webinars.  The webinars posted on the help website are a great resource and its like having your own personal techie anytime you need a quick refresher .
Setting up Board preferences is a bit complicated. Setting up notices and letter templates could be expanded.
A few more description fields in the general ledger would be helpful.
Add access to more field to allow the user to create customized reports.

**Recommendations to others considering Enumerate:**

I would recommend property management companies consider TOPS ONE to streamline and centralize data processing.  The upgrade has reduced the amount of time we spend processing paper work to allow us more time to interact with our clients. I appreciate that TOPS continuously is keeping up with technology and creating new functions that support property management companies. Being an accountant, I appreciate the software is designed to properly record transactions in accordance to GAAP.

**What problems is Enumerate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote accessibility was one of our main problems which has been resolved with TOPS One. Centralization of data has been benefit that we had not initially considered that has surprisingly reduced repetitive questions. We also started to use the user task list which has helped us keep track of deadlines.

**What do you like best about Enumerate?**

I like the current relativity of the software.  I think that they have potential to be at the top.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

The reduction in personalized customer service.  I think that the major growth issues cause issues for businesses that can be detrimental.  I truly valued the customer service that backed the product.  This has diminished due to revamping for territorial customer support.

**Recommendations to others considering Enumerate:**

I was sold on Tops One as a product mainly because of the personalized customer service that was attached.  When a product "works" this is not so important, but with a growing product you need one on one, quick and consistent support.  The company has recently reduced this type of customer service and that would be the biggest draw back when you need support when things are not working.  I turn in support tickets multiple times per week so customer support is very important.

Mainly I am trying to solve the 500 error when Tops server has issues that prevent the program from working.  This is a large issue that has not been resolved consistently.

I really like how user friendly and transparent the system is. It has made it a lot easier for us to communicate with our owners and for out support team to easily train. New employees understand the system a lot more than TOPSPro. Statements are saved as PDFs and are super easy to find.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

I do not think there is much I do not like about TOPSOne. It is very user friendly. The learning curve from using Tops Pro for so long is a bit, but with a little bit of practice I am sure this will be overcome. I do not really like the search bar up top. I wish there was a place to just search by name, address, account number. Sometimes I'll put in an account number and click enter and nothing happens. So I have to put it back in and search the results to find the account I am looking for. I wish it was more like TOPSPro where you would put in the account #, click enter, and the account would populate automatically. I do think the accounting side of it might be a little too easy to change and delete certain entries, but so far we have not had any issues. Add/Waive is a little confusing since you have to add $0 in the prepaid area if not it does not allow you to make any changes.

I think it is a great upgrade from TopsPro and everyone should give it a chance.

There are a lot of new perks TOPS one has. When sending statements, I really love that the statements can be saved as a PDF. This is very helpful since homeowners usually ask for a copy if they lost theirs. Training employees has also been a problem we had because TOPSpro was not as user friendly. The way the ledgers print is also better than the older system. Homeowner upgrades are easier and the integrations with other systems is also great. When adjustments are made to the account, it is very clear who make the adjustment, so if there is an error we can go back and find who did it .

The combination of all property management features allows for ease in working in an Association. Additionally, TOPS is continually improving the product with helpful items, again making our work easier.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

Some glitches in moving around the system when working on an issue. You can't go back to where you were - instead you are required to reset your fields each time.  Also looking for improvements on the email side that will allow for improved appearance, writing options, inserts, and more. I'm hopeful that this will be resolved soon.

Very easy to use once familiar with TOPS One and support team are very helpful.

I've been on a learning curve since this was all new to me. Now that I understand it better, I appreciate the AP, AR, Reports, and other services in the package.

That inputting to set up a new Association takes so many steps and is way longer then the prior Tops program.

Tops One effectively replaced two separate databases which we have been using for years into one simple, fast platform that is much easier to use and access.

Set up is a bit complicated, and as a small firm with no IT department, it's been up to me to burn the literal midnight oil to get transitioned into Tops, but the results so far have made it worth it..

After looking at many options on the market, i am confident that I made the right choice in using Tops One. Previous iterations of Tops were not to my liking, but I really like Tops One and i am quite happy i made the transition.

Not having to constantly double enter and synchronize our operating databases is a tremendous time saver, and more importantly, gives a higher degree of accuracy in our record keeping. This is truly a one step solutions which we had been struggling with for years.

Initial benefit is having capabilities that support the entire operation vs only accounting. Allows more than one user access to different sections.  Board Members and Committee members can be given specific rights to view areas of concerns.

Would like to see an audit log to track any changes made.  Would also like to see a reservations system added.

TOPs interfaces with our Website , so owners can make changes to information on website and it updates TOPs. Elections process is easier to maintain due to owner information.  Data retention to update,  track and manage CCR's.  Record accounting process runs smoother.

The problem I am able to solve is being able to enter all owners information in one place. The benefits are the ease of use! I love that I can send statements and memos to all my homeowners who receive communication by emails. I also love that I can print the same information for those who prefer printed communication!

I like how user friendly this software is. It has made training new employees on it a breeze. It also had a fresh, modern look to it which I think makes it easy to navigate and less intimidating than outdated systems.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

There are a few aspects of TOPS Pro that are not available in TOPS One that would be useful. The separate note sections in TOPS Pro made it easy to view notes on the property/owner. That is not available in TOPS One. The comments go in the activity feed and get buried easily so they are not quick reference like they were in TOPS Pro.

**What problems is Enumerate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The user portals have been very beneficial for our homeowners making payments and viewing their account. The fact that it is internet based is also a benefit that we do not have to constantly check for updates.

I like that it is a web based program.  They seem to want to improve and want feedback.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

Takes too long to get improvements done or glitches fixed.  No way to download attachments for document review and/or to pass on to a new management company.  Too many 'custom' fields that a management company should allow to be 'standard' for their practice. And things they DEFINATELY should have for a management company (such as adding a management company as a type of 'owner' - how that's not been done in all this time is beyond me.

Hard to say right now, half my office is frustrated

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

Lack of response from customer support.  We cant get answers and its killing us.  We're are starting to look at other options as a backup, we're concerned Tops is having internal issues which is creating the lack of returned calls and action.  Will Tops be around in a few years?

**Recommendations to others considering Enumerate:**

Tops One still has some accounting bugs to work out which we're working with them on.  The extended portal is not reliable and progress is slow at best to make it better

I would prefer if Tops One included a payroll module.

Take the leap!  Our company switched from Tops Professional to Tops One.  One is a better product to use and is providing a savings to our company.

I am able to maintain the same information in Tops One that was provided to our owners in our website.  We no longer need a website for our owners.

One of the down sides is that you can no longer call Into the office if you have a question and we were given an account rep we really liked and then they move territories around and we lost her.

The only complaint I would have is sometimes it takes a little too long to get a response; only because when there is a problem with financials you want to be able to fix it quickly.

Easy to use, move through profiles efficiently. They are always willing to listen and improve and they are regularly doing updates and upgrades.

I can't think of anything I dislike. Great job guys and gals.

Getting statements out and compliance letters sent to communities was always a time consuming chore. With TOPS it is a simple couple of clicks and their out. Those were huge headaches before this platform.

Their support is by far the worse I have ever experienced. After three days when I submitted a ticket for support I still did not get a callback to resolve a simple problem of adding a new user. I had to threaten them of changing software companies and 10 minutes they called me. This happens to all of our employee and they have pretty much just given up on their support now.

**Recommendations to others considering Enumerate:**

I would recommend Vantaca or AppFolio who has better support and about the same user friendly as Tops one. Both are also web-base software.

**What problems is Enumerate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently shopping for another software company due to their lack of support.  We would rather pay a higher price and not lose business for better support. I have not realized any benefits of Tops One other than being web based when we changed to them from Tops Pro.

We recently upgrade to TOPS One from the remote login TOPS and I have found the upgrade to be very user friendly and I am now able to do more on my phone than I ever thought possible, which has been very helpful these last few months!

The only downside I have experienced is in the financial reporting.  Our Board preferred the layout of the reports in the old TOPS but I am hopeful we can redesign them to match.

I have used many versions of TOPS for over a decade and they continue to improve the product.  
I am amazed at what I can now do remotely.  It is wonderful!

The product support team at TOPS is amazing! This is a new software for our company and I have found that during the transition Tara and Valerie have been super helpful. If for some reason they don't know an answer to a question I have, they reach out and figure out a way to make it happen.

One area of improvement would be on the user side. I have several people who own multiple units that would like to have access to each of them. I was told they had to have a different email for each property to register. For people who invest in condo communities this is prohibitive. I would recommend making that aspect more user friendly.

**What do you like best about Enumerate?**

The cloud based access is great, and the program has certainly helped my accounting department become more efficient through the automatic scheduling functions, batch postings, and financial reporting packages. I have also been able to improve my communications as a manager by using the email messaging. Overall this has been a big improvement for my department and being able to remotely access info has been huge for me. The support team is also good, sometimes it takes a while for something to get fixed, but they are responsive and helpful and have talked me through how to perform certain tasks and processes multiple times. They are there to solve problems and also essentially train you, and I appreciate the recent implementation of a dedicated customer service representative who can advocate for requested changes and enhancements. Once you learn the fundamentals of how the system is set up with the codes, I think it is fairly user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

This software still has a lot of bugs, and they come out of nowhere, often after a system update, which leads to reports providing inaccurate information, or making certain tasks impossible to do until the bug is fixed. The default reports need some work, for instance, there is no comprehensive owner-resident directory report, and the custom reports are not that user friendly and do not apply globally. I also want to be able to track if emails sent from within the system have been received, there is no email bounce back function. I also don't like that you currently can't export all the contact information input into the system for an owner, it only exports the first phone number or email, so the information is basically stuck inside TOPS. I don't utilize the CCR module because I find it to be too cumbersome to set up, between adding in every possible violation yourself and setting up all the template letters, I decided to use a partner program with more functionality.

**Recommendations to others considering Enumerate:**

I found that it is very hard to evaluate software without actually using it. If I shop around again, next time I would create a list of things that my current software does that are non negotiable must haves, and ask very pointed questions about the ability of the new products. Also remember that initially you are talking to a salesperson and they don't always know the nitty gritty about what they are selling.

Tops ONE gives us improved access to our information, it has made our department more efficient for accounting and administrative tasks.We were using a really old database system prior, this is our 3rd year using TOPS ONE and I am happy enough with it.

The online help center is the best when you are looking for a quick answer to an issue.  It is easy to read and understand how to work in the software and there are so many topics that relate to each other.  It is really helpful when you just need a quick answer.  I have found that I use the help center almost daily to find a solution not just for myself, but for our teammates as well.

**What do you dislike about Enumerate?**

It sometimes takes a while to get an answer and  sometimes you have "chase" your answer.  Thankfully, most things have been resolved without too much difficulty.  The new ticket creator has really helped in drilling down on what the issue is so that you get an answer.

**Recommendations to others considering Enumerate:**

Do the demo.  The associate that helped us with the demo made a lot of the difference when selecting the product that we would use for our company.  We talked to several vendors before settling on TOPS One.  After we agreed to move forward, the staff was great about helping us get all of our information together to be entered.   I'd also recommend utilizing the training sessions.  This was of great help to our staff in learning the system.  Of course the training can't teach you everything, so being invested in learning how to work in the system by using all of their on-line videos is also very helpful.

**What problems is Enumerate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right off, I can think of three major ways that the system solves problems.  1.) The system allows you to keep better records.  We have found less issues with address issues with mailings because everyone is working with the same information.  In the past, we have had issues with a lot of mail being returned due to an address issue.  This has been solved since owners can log-in and let us know if they need to temporarily change their address.  2.) It is also a time saver; people can log in and find the answers themselves without someone having to stop what they are doing to look up the information.  It is especially helpful to our accounting department since homeowners can log-in to see their account balances and recent payments.  This saves so much time where they are not answering the same question of how much I owe.  3.) Communication with the owners can be accomplished right from the system.  The system allows us to send emails to specific groups right within the system.
