They declared (by a C level managers) that onfido java sdk is not supported as much as REST API is). I realized this there was a mismatch between SDK response and documentation. They needed to confess this after wasted weeks that I was pushing them this a serious problem on their end but support team kept sending their out-dated documentation link. It was a nightmare!! Beside same API is returning different responses in SDK and Rest API. Some of the fields are missing in SDK responses than REST API. This is why I spent a couple of week to migrate their broken SDK to Rest API. Other than that they never tagged their depracted methods. You need understand this by reading their documentation and dang! Other than that their It takes ~5 mins to get auth code. You are waiting to get auth code for minutes to access dashboard. Addition, they don't provide all functionalities in their sandbox env. If you want to test autofill feature you need to test this on their live environment. This limits testing capabilities in development part. This requires 3 sepertes instances at least. I tried to contact the Billing department several times to discuss, but no response. As you understand I am not willing to pay for services we did not get. After a while they cut off their services. I am now trying to get into contact with them for more than 20 days, but no response what so ever. Unbelievable. The different features and checks e.g. watchlist report, facial similarity and document report are utilised in a way that efficiently provides us with a verification of identity process that has been implemented across our business. The comprehensive and compliant screening of potential clients during the onboarding phase so we are able to make a conscious decision as to whether we proceed or not. We are therefore able to protect our business against individuals that will be deemed as a risk, allowing us to comply with all the legal procedures while ensuring the business remain fully compliant. We were able to have a live demo by the Onfido team and their continued customer support is available if/when we experience any issues. **What do you dislike about Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido?** When a client is flagged as 'review' you are not able to update the system and manually 'approve' this would be beneficial and ensures we are doing our due diligence. **What problems is Entrust IDV, formerly Onfido solving and how is that benefiting you?** Onfido allows us to legally remain compliant in our business and focus on generating more client leads as well as maintain our client database as we are not having to dedicate as much resources and time to try and decipher whether a client is who they say they are and whether it would be a risk doing business with them. The fact that a link is generated means that many clients can simultaneously complete the Onfido verification process too and we can see from a page of results whether the client has passed the check or not. ### 30.
