**What do you like best about Emotive?**

The best part about Emotive is how easy the dashboard is to use and the customer experience manager. Mine has not only helped me learn the best practices of SMS but has actually implemented most of it for me. As a small business owner, they have been invaluable - adding back precious time to my day.

I wish they had an app so that I can reply to my customers without having to log into the dashboard

Emotive is helping me to speak with my customers directly in a more intimate way. They are ultimately helping me to customer retention and sales.

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

Our company began using Emotive for our SMS marketing 1 year ago. The platform is easy to impliment and intigrate, is user-friendly, competitively and economically priced, and has significantly boosted our conversion rates while helping us capture valuable customer data. My account representative, JC, has been instrumental in making this partnership seamless. He provides exceptional support, guiding me through the various features and showing me how to maximize the platform's potential, which is key to our success! JC’s expertise in copywriting and setting up functional elements like customer flows and broadcasts has been invaluable. His turnkey assistance allows me to focus on other aspects of my position while knowing my SMS marketing strategy is in capable hands. As a service I use every day, I can’t recommend Emotive enough for anyone looking to enhance their customer engagement and elevate their marketing efforts. **What do you like best about Emotive?**

I like the ease of use. The setup is pretty straightforward and their onboarding is helpful. They have a calendar with ideas of subjects and occasions to send messages.

**What do you dislike about Emotive?**

The cost is high and I haven't really seen an ROI. Once onboarded, the assigned account manager was not as helpful. There is no option to provide a free download in exchange for phone number, only a discount is available to offer subscribers. Unfortunately, not everyone offers discounts.

**What problems is Emotive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm able to reach customers quicker than email. The service also provides a way to follow up with customers after they may not have opened an email. The benefit is that the message gets seen one way or the other.

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

Emotive consistently generates a 35X ROI each and every month for my clients. Some of my clients see even greater ROI, and it all has to do with conversational messaging which allows shoppers to interact and speak to a real person via SMS. 

It was super easy to implement. They have an onboarding team that helps you through the process, and no technical expertise is needed. It was amazing. It also inegrates with all of the apps we use (shopify, omnisend, zapier, etc). 

A lot of SMS services allow for broadcast messaging (a la email blasts), but Emotive's approach is a bit different which allows for your shoppers to actually respond to any message you send. This generates a new level of engagement and gives your brand a chance to make a happy customer, each and every time. 

The best thing about it is the pricing. Yes, there are other services out there, but Emotive's pricing is so good that I recommend it every time over any of their competitors.

There is nothing to dislike. Serisouly. It's ALL GOOD! No complaints.

The platform itself is super intuitive, but what really stands out is their support. Need help? You’re not filling out tickets or waiting for days—you’re literally one text away from someone jumping in to save the day. Think of them like the pit crew of SMS marketing.

Pricing can scale quickly: While it’s affordable for small brands, be aware—if you start seeing major success, the cost will rise along with your results. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something to keep an eye on.

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

It was great working with Emotive. 10/10 for their sales pitch, and 10/10 for their customer support. I've worked with competitor SMS marketing software before but no one can beat Emotive's customer support experience. Overall when it comes to numbers, SMS marketing has been the big thing for us in 2024, and Emotive's popup and pixel surely helped a great deal in that. They actually care about your growth.

**What do you dislike about Emotive?**

Nothing at the moment, but I would say their pricing is on the higher end of things.

SMS marketing has always been difficult for us, Emotive solved that right off the bat. Their team handles things for us, and they equipped my team in writing better campaigns and handle automation. 

In our industry, some customers like to have a dedicated person to talk to - but we can't reply to everyone. Emotive took that problem off the table as well.

Easy to use, easy to make changes, customer service reps are always helpful (and easy to reach). Solid reliable platform.

**What do you dislike about Emotive?**

Once, over two years ago, for a few hours the service went down. Their customer service team contacted us through email to let us know there was a problem. It never happened again.

**What problems is Emotive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been using Emotive for our SMS campaigns for over two years. They are a great company to work with and their customer service is fantastic. The platform is always reliable, and the customer service reps are always helping with suggestions on how to improve campaign performance (they are also very easy to reach). Their analytics are easy to follow and shows exactly how each campaign is doing. We are a large company that sends over 100 SMS message a month, and have always had great results. Would definitely recommend Emotive to anyone who wants to increase their SMS campaign ROI.

emotive has brought a personalized customer centric experience to our customers and has helped us to engage our customer base and boost our sales in the process.  We have a measurable increase in customer engagement and in revenue since we began working with emotive.

Really no downsides.  The offer a ROI guarentee, and if you're not satisfied in the first month or so, then you cancel.  Really no risk.

As a small business, we don't have a large markeing department to help us get in front of potential customers.  emotive helps leverage SMS and get potential customers that are interested in the brand and drives them to the website and converts into customers.

My team and I use Emotive daily and it's very user-friendly! Integrating it with Shopify and Klaviyo has been incredibly helpful. My favorite feature is the abandoned carts, which lets us track and communicate with our customers during their shopping experience.

**What do you dislike about Emotive?**

At the moment, I have no negative experiences with the platform or their team.

My team was initially very hesitant to use SMS marketing, but our experience with Emotive has completely changed our perspective. While email marketing is an effective way to reach our customers, people are generally more likely to check their phones than their emails. We particularly noticed this during Prime Day, where SMS proved to be a quicker and more efficient way to reach our customers during this busy sale day.

The Emotive team has honestly been the key reason I decided to switch from Postscript. They were so hands on from the day we had the first zoom meeting. They followed up with me constantly even when I was slow to respond (we were in our equivalent to Black Friday). They worked out very competitive pricing for us and everything I needed to make the transition smoother they did in a timely manner, which as business owners we know is super important. I truly could not be happier with my experience.

The dedicated team that helps respond to customers truly is a selling factor I don't think they push enough. Emotive is so awesome with this! The are times our team is busy and we don't want costumers having a question that isn't resolved. They handle the responses that they can.

Maris and MJ, the dynamic duo of Emotive technical and customer success team was one of the best experiences I have had with onboarding services for ecom. I mean where do I start. They listened to me, crafted practical but also impactful strategies to help my small business online. In a matter of one week, I saw a 10x and up jump in revenue from initial small spend budget. To top things off, they then guided me to the hands of the customer success manager to further insure rapid growth and an action plan to get there. 

I am so happy and motivated for life changing progress with my online store, thanks to these key individuals.

The customer service has always been FANTASTIC! Specifically with our Rep, JC. They are always prompt and happy to assist you with any questions you may have. They have made the switch to SMS marketing a breeze!

They went through a phase where we wer getting a new rep every couple of weeks. This made it very hard to bond with our reps, as we always feared they would leave again and we would have to start over with building a relationship. Despite this, they have all been VERY friendly and easy to work with!

Allows us to target our customers on their smart phones directly.

Emotive has been great at working with us to ensure we are happy with the results. JC Fajardo has been very hands on with the process, making great implementation and broadcast ideas. We highly recommend emotive for sms marketing.

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

Great customer service and representative team- every member I've worked with on our service has been fantastic. 

The service is robust with good analytics and best case studies. However, getting customers phone numbers can prove challenging and there needs to be specific consideration to your strategy of how you will do so. 

It is probably the best text tool available on the market at this time, and they have a good ROAs return rate, assuming you have new customers and phone numbers collecting at all times. 

They paired us up with a similar company to review what they were doing which was a fantastic aid.

**What do you dislike about Emotive?**

You cannot leave their contract and are essentially signing onto a year-long contract. 

Currently there are more companies doing this type of advertising and customers are more likely to unsubscribe as opposed to email. We've had several customers be disappointed that they could not call us, or had to explain why we had an American # when we are based in Canada.

**What problems is Emotive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Emotive is an SMS marketing platform for us, however, it has become a 1 on 1 customer support channel that even our older customers enjoy (think 40+).

Simplifying Complex Emotional Data: Emotive's platform makes it easy to gather and analyze emotional data from our customers, which was previously a very time-consuming and resource-intensive process. This data is now organized and presented in a way that's easy to understand and act on.

I had a great experience working with the team at Emotive. They were incredibly helpful and collaborative, ensuring that our account tracked users efficiently and accurately. What impressed me most was their understanding of how we wanted to target our audience across our various products. Jen and Olivia were particularly responsive and patient, addressing all of my questions promptly. I'm very grateful for their guidance in navigating Emotive's metrics.

We pay for users tracked and not emails sent. Considering we have a high ticketed product, abandoned checkout, and abandoned cart emails work better for us instead of browse abandonment emails.

We currently use Emotive for email marketing flows. Klaviyo is unable to track all emails after 7 days from signing up, and Emotive is able to track a few more

Emotive has made it very easy to reach out to our SMS list with great segmenting options, awesome support (who will even write your texts for you), & an intuitive user interface. When Emotive created its own pop-up for gathering phone numbers and email addresses from customers, JC and the support team took care of the entire migration for us.  This is definitely a good option for businesses using SMS marketing.

I'm disappointed in the analytics. Emotive has an Attribution tool, & it's a bummer they don't use it for more accurate SMS data.

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

Easy to use and the customer support is top-notch. They're incredible collaborators and always do their best to improve your business SMS campaigns. Since the beginning, they've been very supportive and responsive. I have not complaints so far and I plan to use Emotive on my personal business projects.

The platform is very intuitive. It will feel familiar if you've worked with Email campaigns. I haven't had any issues so far. Hopefully they'll offer a mobile app in the future, but everything has been excellent.

It has helped us in offering our customers a more direct connection and more effective ad campaigns. The app offers great value compared to the cost. I think is great for e-commerce retailers, it will pay for itself several times over in a short time.

There are so many prebuilt templates and flows that it makes getting started incredibly easy. Implementation was super straight forward. Emotive integrates with WooCommerce and Mailchimp so that was all taken care of.

There are so many options that finding the settings you need can be difficult at times, but that's really only if you're getting into the nitty gritty of customizations.

It is easy to set up flows to reach customers with relevant messages. The broadcasts are easy to send. The customer service from the reps is great and they were willing to accommodate for my seasonal business and gave me a discount and support even though I wasn't able to sign a year contract.

The ROI is hard to calculate, or at least the way it's set up seems to exagerate the return

Emotive is very easy to use/integrate with Shopify and Klaviyo. The team is extreemly helpful and personalble. Everyone is rooting for your success. Great team work and any comments for improvements, such as adding a function, is promptly relayed to other team managers and it is worked on ASAP.

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

Getting mobile users signed up and connected! Our SMS subscribers have almost doubled and our daily sales have increased significantly in only one week. We have been able to offer personalized customer service and answers detailed questions that have helped the buying process. Tanya, our rep, and Elias, our onboarding specialist, have both been amazing! Patient, answers all questions, has held our hand in any aspect we've asked for. That's part of the deal breaker with a lot of platforms, lack of communication and customer service. Emotive has something figured out!

**What do you dislike about Emotive?**

I haven't found a downside necessarily... I have to put my marketing hat on to build campaigns to continue its effectiveness but they made it soooo easy to get setup.

Lack of ability to opt-in and engage with SMS subscribers. Emotive has made it easy to capture SMS opt-ins and nurture them!

Ryan, Jen, and Mhira are amazing! They held our hand through every step of the process making it such a wonderful experience. We were hesitant at first to enter the SMS world but the transition to SMS/MMS was seamless.

I really liked the ease of implementation, the user friendly interface and ease of use, and the dedicated CSM (and Support), which are very involved & supportive. I also like their flexible "pay as you go" model, which gives brands flexibility to try the platform, without a yearly contract commitment right from the start.

It has some room for improvement in the area of segmentation, as well as allowing A/B tests inside flows/experiences.

The Emotive platform is intuitive and easy to use for SMS. A great amount of strategic information is available to support the campaigns you may run, with features you wouldn't find on other platforms to creatives and templates you can utilize or follow.

There are some limitations to the features and the segmentation we wanted to run that we were not able to. Ultimately we found it to be much better to use than Klaviyo and look forward to further updates to expand our options.

There are three things I like most about Emotive: The ease of utilizing the tool, the features it provides, and the dedicated account manager that helps with planning and understanding the functionality.  The onboarding process for a tool like this is paramont to the success.

Emotive has so many features that it can be tricky to figure out which tools are best for you.  Thankfully, with a dedicated success manager,  some of the confusion is removed and we can focus on creating the business plans and systems.

With Emotive we have added another channel in which to communicate with our customer.  This has allowed us to deepen our relationship with the customer as well as capture additional revenue.

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

There are two aspects to Emotive that I enjoy. The first is that they are reliable and quick to respond to your emails if you have any questions at all. I prefer to use companies that respond in less than 2 days and you do not need to send many follow up messages so this company is perfect for that. 

Second, I like that this service is effective and you can see the results immediately. You know your users are receiving the SMS messages, and they're remembering your company and becoming more inclined to make a purchase. its easy to integrate and get setup and I have been using this for over a year.

**What do you dislike about Emotive?**

Updating my review now that I have been using them long enough. In the long run the service is not effective at all, and their contracts are a nightmare. Dealing with customer support has been nothing but a headache trying to get out of a contract I didn't even know I signed. Instead of simply cancelling a contract a few months early, its more worth it for them to lose a long time customer and potential customers. I have 3 businesses which I would have been interested in transferring to Emotive in the future, but after the way I was treated as a customer after being the very first users to sign up to their platform leaves me extremely unhappy.

Theyre retaining lost and abonded carts and reminding the customer about your business all throughout the year. You can set the frequency and budget. As a customer myself of various brands I know that being reminded about sales and new products is very helpful

**What do you like best about Emotive?**

The team at Emotive has made it so easy to get onboarded and continue our SMS Marketing efforts. Many other platforms across a multitude of services get you onboarded quickly, but do not continue to support. Not with Emotive, the amount of regular support and check-ins I get from my account manager and copywriter is above and beyond. Our copywriter will even setup marketing broadcasts and and segments for that make sense for each campaign. Really amazing!  That siad, the platform is quite intuitive and user-friendly. So, if you are a do it yourselfer and don't want the capable Emotive team to do that level of work for you brand, it is very easy to work inside the platform and get your campaigns out!

I haven't come across anything that I don't like yet.

We have definitely added more customers as well as generated revenue and engagement with Emotive. Additionally, Emotive's interface has allowed us to respond to customer queries in a real-time text environment

The emotive team is engaged with their customers, taking in feedback and creating solutions. The platform is easy to use for both campaign sends and automations.

Lots of different options for customer sign ups and different types of phone numbers, which gives us the ability to make it a much more personal experience for our customers.

No built in pop ups, but they do provide a subscription to an outside platform.

Would like to see more integrations, but have all the major ones you need.

I enjoy how easy it is to use and navigate - very user-friendly. It is also very easy to see the analytics from both experiences and broadcasts that we send out, as well as create those. I really like the prebuilt experiences they offer

I had issues before trying to unsubscribe a customer and found it difficult to search and find them in the platform, but I just looked and it seems like that issue has been fixed.
